Yeah I get that. It's always really cool to see her talk about her songs and it elevates the album to another level. And I agree with the lyrical content of SL being shallow. It's a fun song imo and I'm really fond of the production and vocals but there really isn't much to talk about in terms of meaning so I understand why it can be a little bit frustrating.

The more time goes by and considering her reaction to the leak, the less I think SL is going to be on LG6, at least not as a lead single anyway. We'll see tho. I really don't think the album is that far away so I'll just give it time.

In terms of hype tho, Gaga has us all at her fingertips. Whenever something comes, be it a rumor or something concrete we'll all lose our minds as we always do. We can't escape her.

Honestly i’ve lowered my expectations. Pop has changed a lot since Gaga was an actual popstar. There are so many new artists that are even weirder that what Gaga used to be but they can’t shock anymore in 2020 so we have to lower our expectations in terms of visuals or weirdness

@SHALLOW I like you a lot, but I don't understand how this is still a recurring thing that everyone says every week. 

Y'all have been saying there's no hype day after day, stupid love leaks and the world and fanbase goes into a frenzy, two days later, the cycle repeats. 

The world and fanbase clearly are hyped and thirsty for new music from her. Even making this thread proves that.

So you think that the fanbase would still be hyped if she releases a version of SL that’s very similar to what we have?  i think in that case we would only be hyped about the mv and the cover but definitely not about the song itself. On the other hand, if she releases a very different adjustment of the song, i feel like people like me would be interested enough to keep streaming it.
