That being said, wow @ this woman's integrity... The offer must be incredibly tempting, and TBH I can't say I would turn it down. Like, can't I phone bank for Bernie AND be a Bloomberg staffer?

Also, yes I believe that major elements of the way the "world works" are problematic and should be changed. I actually think most people would agree that some ways the "world works" aren't beyond reproach

It's hate against a system where people who have all the money and resources can selectively decide or decline to pay their employees well or not. Like, if they want you to starve to save money, they can. And if they want to entice people, they can do that as well. That's too much power over people's lives IMO.

Also... plenty of billionaires will admit to "being okay with paying more in taxes" or even "eventually giving away a %age of my wealth!"

Meanwhile, many of those people in the same breath  don't stop taking advantage of tax loopholes, and also don't support a wealth tax like  

It's because they want to voluntarily give smaller amounts of money out to specific causes, rather than paying their fair share in taxes respective to their income like the rest of America, to be used for causes that would empower all 350 million people in America.

It's greed masquerading as kindness.

Look. I dont know what he does behind close doors, but on paper I think people want billionaires to act like he acts / he says he acts / others say he acts. If he wins and will show his tax returns, we will know more.

Other important thing. He is self made. His father didnt make more than $6000 a year.

The greed kindness talk is just hate talk, in my opinion. We dont like when billionaires dont pay their taxes, dont donate money? They are greed. But we dont like them even when they do these things? Well bloomberg. Stop donating your money. Keep it for yourself.

Bottom line. Even in communist China, there are billionaires. They like them. Every country has them. When they stop being a thing in US or anywhere, that's bad news and every measure taken to stop their existence just because some people or politicians dont like billionaires is bad news for the economy.

To be fair it's never that simple for a CEO. A CEO is not the sole exclusive owner of a Corporation (there's thousands of shareholders he has to answer to) not to mention other executive board members as well

 

If a CEO tried to be too generous he'd get fired. 

 

That means even CEOs that have a heart and wanna be more generous in essence they just aren't allowed to be

 

In this case he doesn't have to answer to other ppl and can choose what to compensate. It's not the same situation

They are allowed to be if they can retain majority control and choose a good board of directors! Of course all CEOs are different. Some have 6 shareholders, some are publicly traded.
