  1. 1. Did "Stupid Love" disappoint you, or not?

    • Yes, it did. I expected more from Gaga.

    • No, it didn't. I would be so happy if it was the lead single of LG6.

Legit everything you don't like about it is everything the fanbase has been asking her to do/complaining about. Sis can never win over the little illegalstreamsters honestly :enigma:

I never got that though, why does GGD root for her to make basic, easy, save music?
The appeal of Gaga to me, was that she was so different, unique & crazy. She took risks & never gave any ****s.

With all due respect, Stupid Love sounds like it’s from 2015/16

After accumulating so much good will from years of placating to the public's sensibilities about what is "good" (The tribute era: Sound of Music, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Carol King, Frank Sinatra, and David Bowie, the album with Tony Bennett, the stripped down sound and visual era of Joanne, her award winning performances in American Horror Story and A Star Is Born) I hoped she would now take a risk with LG6. I hoped she would finally lean into something that would challenge the public. Something that sounded a little more Bjork and a little less RuPaul.

But, Stupid Love is cute. It's fun. If she elevates it with compelling and interesting visuals then I wont be disappointed.

No, it didn't disappoint me. What does disappoint me is the fact that it's probably not going to be the single :fthis:

I gave in and listened to it. It's so much better than I was expecting. On the first listen I thought wow this is the best lead since Bad Romance!

I love it when she makes songs that sound like they can be played on a catwalk. I just love that whole attitude that she embodies with this kind of music.

I just realised 'Stupid Love' is like.. another way of saying 'Bad Romance'. I see what she's doing here. :toofunny:

Already tired of listening to it so yeah, SL is kinda disappointing to me and gets boring after a few listen. Definitely not timeless. I just pray it’s just the demo and we get a better version of this song with better production.

I love it. I loved it from the clip that leaked earlier last year. It’s really addicting and a huge breath of fresh air. And I am so grateful to finally have it. Truly cannot wait for this album.

Even tho the instrumental kinda a bit "recycle" from her previous works, it's still a BOP and I'm happy about it.
