I'll say it again that it sounds reminiscent of the born this way instrumental, the bass synth is similar to the bass synth in 'do what u want' (which im obsessed with so major ups gaga!) and her vocals remind me of her tom ford 'I want your love' chic cover. I am really looking forward to LG6 now. And for people bitching about wanting dark pop for the lead, remember that the born this way album gave us government hooker and schiebe. ChromaticPrincess 1,346 Posted January 19, 2020 Share Posted January 19, 2020 It’s super cute I guess I haven’t heard the full version tho as I don’t know the get down lyrics nor the I don’t need an excuse but the chorus and pre-chorus is really good HOWEVER I don’t think it’d be a great lead, esp now that it’s leaked. It’s miles better than PI (as a lead) but likewise to PI I don’t think it’s a good indicator of what the albums will be like, and i day this as we literally no nothing about the other album other than it’s producers, even if it’s full of a bunch of uptempo happy dance songs, I just feel like there’s better material. However people here have commented that the lyrics are simple and not to complex, and that the GP will eat. it. up. which is very true so I’m a little bit torn, because I want the GP support lol but honestly I think this is a distraction or a decoy, and even if it was in consideration for the lead, it’s definitely not anymore, at least it shouldn’t be, I don’t think Gaga’s gonna do another pop emergency ever again. TL;DR she’s cute and a bop but I feel like there’s better waiting for us. I would be disappointed if it was the first single. It’s fine as an album track. I love the chorus too but again it’s not enough for a comeback single.
