Lol and I’m the one jumping to conclusions. Where in my post did I call her a name? She lied about her heritage. Do you dispute that? Do I think that’s unforgivable? Yes, as someone coming from a minority background, it is very unforgivable. And even if she’s apologized, it makes me doubt her credibility when it comes to a so called comment made in a year old conversation. Shouldn’t you be spending more time on enlightening us on how Biden is the superior candidate and more electable :ladyhaha:

You called The View hosts "buffoons" without actually listening to what they said. I'd call that name-calling, and it's an especially bad look given that it's women talking about sexism. They're allowed to have opinions, even if you disagree with them. That's a concept I'm learning many Leftists have a very hard time with.

Warren misled us about her heritage, but it was based on a long family history (or... story, at any rate) and I don't think for a second that she made it up herself or that she had bad intentions with it. She's not exactly Rachel Dolezal.

Time trying to get you to change your mind about Joe Biden is time wasted. I'm sure you agree you're not feeling open-minded about the former vice president. But I think it's worthwhile pointing out when people are being particularly unfair about him or another candidate I like, especially given how many people read through these threads even if they don't participate.

Biden admitting that sexism makes it harder for women to be taken seriously in politics is correct and commendable.

The issue here is Sanders may have told a woman who was actively considering a run for president that a woman can't win. If you can't recognize how those two statements are different, and how what Sanders said might elicit a negative reaction, then I think you're being disingenuous.

The irony that you accuse others of cherry picking when you do this here, as well as cherry pick when you do and don't respond to people depending on if you can make it fit into your own narrative and agenda.

Do you know nothing about Bernie's history? That he's fought harder and more for women's and minority rights than Biden most definitely, and arguably more than most other candidates in the field?

It's amazing to me how much you cherry pick things, and how conveniently you and the MSM ignore Bernie's entire record and history about this when it suits you.

The only thing you have to say about it is running with this "Bernie Bros" thing trying to make that all Bernie is about, but you, the MSM, and the haters always neglect to mention Bernie's own record and policies which show he's the biggest proponent and fighter out of all the candidates.

Nice try though! Label his supporters Bernie Bros, Far Leftists, whatever you want to create to distract from the issues and his history and policies. Which are what actually matter.

At the end of the day we know he doesn't just say all this. Meanwhile the rest of you will have to worry about being sold out by their candidate to whatever corporate or establishment interests paid them off :spin:

I watch The View clips on YouTube everyday and these ladies are on the Biden payroll. There’s a reason he went on this show in April 2019 the day he announced his campaign.

Joy and Sunny are the only ones who actually like Bernie but Joy has recently gone under the Biden payroll lmfao.

Biden went on The View because a lot of suburban women watch it and that is a demographic that is key to beating Trump in 2020 - these are people who voted for Trump in 2016 and then got disgusted and voted for a Frontline Democrat in 2018. It happened all over the country, in about 40 different Congressional districts. Winning over those voters is essential this year, and I think Biden was smart to make the appearance.

Duh, we know. It was a joke.

But ever since he went on they all automatically shifted gears (even Joy) to back him 100%

That's not really nice to say, just because they say something you dont agree with. First of all, 2 are republicans, so of course they somehow like the moderates more. It's not that hard to see why.

Joy always says that she is ok with anyone who can beat Trump and always says that any democrat candidate is 1000x times better than Trump. She and Sunny have many times presented progressives point of views and many times have been loved by progressive media for that.

There were also times when they were hard on Biden and pretty much destroyed Pete on some segments, much more than they did with Sanders.

So instead of accusing some people of something you dont have any proof of, maybe say where they are wrong, especially since their record shows that they have been hard with many candidates.

Sanders is very idealistic without many plans to actually bring things to fruition.

Warren has had a bit of a shaky past, but she is smart and she has a good team with her to plan every single step out of anything she wants to implement.

Biden is a career politician, but doesn't really align with most democratic views at this point. He's also the reason mass incarceration increased and student loan debt can't be forgiven in bankruptcy court.

Buttigieg is someone who I will never trust. He only wants to win and will say whatever it takes. There were people that came out and said that in grade school all he talked about is how he wanted to be president. Hell, he had focus groups to figure out the most appealing way to say his name.

Additionally, Warren came out with something that she deemed a concerned, which is something that anybody should have done. Everyone would be up in arms if this came out about him later and she hadn't said anything. It is her job in this campaign to win. And sometimes that involves pointing out the issues in another candidate. She has not smeared Sanders, she's just pointed out his flaws. If the "Bernie Bros" can't handle rightful criticism towards him then they will die before he's inaugurated.

It’s a joke, buddy. I am a regular viewer of this show. I know all of their stances.

Ummm needless to say I'm not able to reply to literally every single person on here. Do you? Or am I being held to a different standard for some reason. Because I'm not really sure where you got the impression that I'm required to continue conversations with every single person on here who wants a piece of the debate. But frankly, most of what I say to one person also applies to the rest of you.

I'm extremely familiar with Bernie's history and I have respect for him. (I generally reserve my animosity for his "my way or the highway" supporters.) He has a very consistent valueset but, as an independent senator, he's also able to work with Democrats and Republicans to get things done. That's a piece of his history that I don't think the far left appreciates enough, and that frankly I think he should talk up more. He could broaden his appeal that way.

But the thing is - I don't agree with all of his values. I don't agree that everyone should be forced on Medicare. I don't agree that college should be free for the children of the extremely wealthy. I don't agree that free trade deals are inherently bad. So you can say "he's a fighter" all you want, but I just don't agree with the things he's fighting for!

Hillary lost for being Hillary the same way Joe will lose if he's the candidate so it would be nice if they stopped blaming it on bernie supporters and take responsibility for their mediocre agenda  that still puts the interest of their donors above real americans
