Red Velvet 10,988
We all kniw Gaga has written songs that were solely credited to hers such as Speechless and You And I, but let's see on other artists. Drag me as fast as you can, but nothing will ever beat Thinking of You when it comes to Katy's discography. I am also going to add Last Kiss and Dear John to that mix. Best lyrics of each songs: Dear John: Well maybe it's me and my blind optimism to blame Maybe it's you and your sick need to give love then take it away And you'll add my name to your long list of traitors who don't understand And I'll look back and regret how I ignored when they said "run as fast as you can" Dear John, I see it all now that you're gone Don't you think I was too young to be messed with? The girl in the dress, cried the whole way home Last Kiss: So I'll watch your life in pictures like I used to watch you sleep And I feel you forget me like I used to feel you breathe And I'll keep up with our old friends just to ask them how you are Hope it's nice where you are Thinking of You: Comparisons are easily done Once you've had a taste of perfection Like an apple hanging from a tree I picked the ripest one I still got the seed You said move on Where do I go I guess second best Is all I will know I'm like some kind of supernova

blankpaper 21
I might get dragged for this but I’ve always thought Gwen Stefani is a brilliant lyricist, especially back in the No Doubt days. Other band members are credited as well but if I remember correctly from my ND stan days, it was mostly her doing the lyrics Sometimes (1992) — Sometimes I find myself blind / don’t use my brain, don’t use my mind / distorted feelings always leading my way / but I must forgive myself now and let the past lay down to rest / and I’ll be prepared to face myself in another day Excuse Me Mr (1995) — For most love comes for free / they don’t pay the high cost of mental custody / ill pay bail for a guarantee / please make space for me in the time yet to be Suspension Without Suspense (2000) — we get so far / and then it just starts rewinding / and the same old song / we’re playing it again and again / suspension without suspense / intentions without intent / but I don’t want the love we have to end reality’s tight if the music is right

Salvador Sequea 813
Antología by Shakira And I learned how to take away seconds from the time / You made me see a deeper sky / With you I think I gained more than three pounds / With so many sweet kisses you use to gave me / You did improve my smell sense / And for you I learned to love cats / You took my shoes off the concrete / So we could escape together flying for a while. But you forgot a final instruction / Because I don't even know how to live without your love. Then I found out the meaning of a rose / You taught me how to say white lies / So we could see each other late in the night / And to replace words for stares / It was for you that I wrote more than one hundred songs / I even forgave your mistakes / And I found out more than one thousand ways to kiss / It was for you that I found out what it is to love. In English doesn't look well but believe me it's a Spanish Masterpiece
