Bernie, the only real populist candidate, would not give into Trump's fear tactic issues like other candidates, instead choosing to focus on exposing his fake populism and corrupt ties with the wealthy corporate elite. Joe wouldn't be able to come for him with like ANYTHING specific because he has been on the wrong side of history with SO much, and since he is a corporate establishment Democrat it's unlikely he would press against Trump's elite ties and fake populism. It'd be a bunch of "You divided this country with hate, I will unite us and restore this country back to the Obama days (the establishment days that helped Trump, the worst president of all time, get elected in the first place)". ...avoiding the real issues pressing average Americans in a super vague, incoherent, cringeworthy and embarrassing way, with an abundance of eccentric one-liners that'd get meme'd until the end of time. HorusRa2 5,005 Posted January 13, 2020 Share Posted January 13, 2020 Trump would love Biden as the nominee. The same attacks he used on Clinton, he can use on Biden and more. Biden is very clearly worse than Hillary. Warren would lose in the same way that Clinton lost because she would focus on the social/cultural issues and Trump would link her to Clinton (and Warren has friendly history with Clinton and would be easy to tie her to it). Bernie is the only candidate that Trump fears. They think he would be easy to beat bc "SOCIALISM BAD" but the data doesn't bear that out. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
