But Is there someone in your country who has a bit of the same flair, is theatrical, has an impresive voice, wears over the top outfits, known for big shows, is a queen etc.?? I was thinking, here in the Netherlands, there is not really a curent pop star who is all these things. But the older generation is different. Back in the day whe had these grande ladies of theater, singers and actresses. I think Karin Bloemen comes quite close. She is like the Queen of Dutch theatre. Spoiler She has appeared in several films and television shows in the Netherlands. Since 1983 she is a singer and cabaret artist who is very extrovert and likes to draw attention to herself with her striking appearance in big dresses, her beautiful songs and lively performances. In her theatre shows and concerts she makes use of her fabulous voice and expressive facial expressions and she plays the audience very well. She is exuberant and extroverted and can also be subdued and sensitive. Nowadays she is still active. This is a show of her from 1994. Yall probably don't understand anything from what she says eccept the Dutchies here, but she sings in English too and she definitly has some pipes. Her lastname Bloemen means flowers in Dutch btw.
