REALITY 77,383 Posted January 6, 2020 Share Posted January 6, 2020 I’m definitely happiest for Joaquin! His performance was incredible, honestly one of the best of his career; I’m so proud of him! Sad that ScarJo didn’t win, I wanted her too, but also I did predict that Renee was going to win, so that wasn’t much of a surprise. Sam Mendes for director, IMO, was disappointing. I haven’t seen the movie, but it just doesn’t seem to interest me. Who knows, it’s probably a fantastic film though. I would’ve been okay with literally anyone else. Personally, I would’ve voted for Bong Joon Ho or Todd Phillips. I’m super excited that Taron won for Rocketman! I didn’t expect his win at all, but I’m more than happy! He’s who I wanted to win, though I thought that Leo was going to get it! Rocketman’s such a good movie! Finally, I’m also super happy that Awkafina won!
