Will she debut with less than Bieber’s 5.2? Yeah possibly. Meanwhile, Bieber/his team is proclaiming him “the biggest superstar in the world,” when he can barely do a third of his last collaboration lead and barely outstream songs released within the past year is embarrassing. Justin is a more GP-friendly artist than Gaga so it's understandable that his streams are likely going to be higher than her. Also, ARTPOP didn't really do that well commercially so the Joanne era wasn't that much anticipated (outside the fanbase). Meanwhile, Bieber's Sorry was a massive hit and to see his streams plummet to five million on its first day is not a good thing. Besides, is it really fair to compare first day streams from four years ago to first day streams right now? Spotify wasn't that huge of a platform back then. Correct me if I'm wrong. JB on the other hand, her last album was a huge success, so everyone anticipates his new music, 5.2M is definitely an underperformance for his standard.
