ARTPOP is a magic that makes me fall in love with Gaga. The mysterious-like album makes me want to get on my feet and dance all the way. I love ARTPOP that no words can describe it.

9.5/10

There's about 1 song on there that I skip. I love this album so much!

Today was my first time listening to this album. R&B/Soul is not my typical genre of choice at all, but overall this album was pretty great. After only one listen it's a bit difficult to make a valid opinion, but it definitely left me wanting to listen to it again. I can't decide whether I liked or disliked the little 1:00 interlude tracks between songs, but I will say it definitely provided the album with an overall atmosphere I enjoyed that I'm not sure would have existed without the help of the interlude tracks. Certain lyrical content I found I wasn't a big fan of. I seemed to pick out a lot of s-xual lines that left a bad taste in my hears. Also, I didn't understand the concept behind hardly any songs on first listen. Overall melodically and sound-wise the album comes off as incredible, but I need to do a bit more digging into the album to decide whether other key aspects of the LP appeal to me as well. Fun listening experience.

Not my favourite Madonna album, but definitely in the top 5. A true turning point in her career. Different from anything she has ever done. The calming vocals and outstanding hypnotic production :legend: I love it :legend: No words needed :legend:

Ultraviolence - Lana Del Rey = 8.5/10

Pretty different than Born to Die and Paradise and not as good but still pretty great. It's more of a grower album and not a shower like her previous releases.

Standout/Favorite Tracks: Ultraviolence, West Coast, Money Power Glory, and Black Beauty

Zion - Hillsong United

8/10

Considering this was the first 'religious' album I had listened to, it was surprisingly good actually, standouts for me are probably "Love is War", ""Heartbeats", "Up in Arms" and "King of Heaven". The lyrics aren't as religiously focused (I mean some of them obviously make reference to Christian figures but it's not overbearing in any way) as you'd think either so regardless of your religious beliefs or lack of I'd suggest this album. I can understand if it isn't everyone's 'cup of tea' lyrically though. The sound sort of reminds me of a less synthy and slower Bastille but idk what that even means :spin:

Days Are Gone - HAIM = 8.5/10

Wasn't expecting to love this band as much as I do. It's a great debut album and I see them being highly successful in the future. They're like a mixture of Michael Jackson and Indie Rock.

                                                                                            Score: 9.5/10

Truly a wonderful album, and a great way to follow Born To Die. It sounds much more mature, the track listing flows amazingly well and the sounds all have a great similar tone but are also distinguishable. It may take a few listens to really get into it, but once you're hooked, you're hooked. I can't wait to see what she has in store for her next album.

Standout Tracks: Shades of Cool, Florida Kilos, Ultraviolence, Brooklyn Baby
