gagalovesme 2 Posted August 24, 2013 Share Posted August 24, 2013 autoamerican- blondie 9/10 another classic album from blondie! it reminds me of a film soundtrack, all of the songs follow on from each other beginning with the film score-esque 'europa' which has no lyrics and ending with the subtle 'follow me'. they dabble in so many different genres on this album ranging from pop, jazz, rap, reggae which really shows how versatile the band is. my faves are the tide is high, angels on the balcony, live it up, call me & the classic- rapture Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

n0ne 13,105 Posted August 28, 2013 Share Posted August 28, 2013 Bad Blood by Bastille 9.5/10 Listened to this band on a whim after liking their song Pompeii on NewNowNext Music and I'm glad I did; I listened to Bad Blood (their debut album coming out in Sept in the US) along with their discography and loved majority of their songs. Their a fairly new British Alternative/Indie Rock band and they're fantastic and talented; the lead singer's voice is s-xy and unique/captivating, I would consider him one of my favorite male vocalists. Hearts Without Chains isn't as good as her other ballads and I don't like how You My Everything was toned down for the album. Otherwise this stuff is good! It's a very colorful album with diverse tracks ranging from the pop Burn, uptempo Goodness Gracious, epic Under Control, dancy Flashlight, touching How Long Will I Love You, and s-xy Tessellate. His new album Forgive Me was released yesterday and I think it's amazing! It has a new sound, more mature sound. Now one of the things I love the most about her is that she stays true to her style. I can listen to any of her songs and know that this is a ****ing Lee Jung Hyun song.It's her style and she always stays true to it.
