SeasonOfTheWitch 3,789
Does anyone have it saved somewhere? I can’t find it on twitter. Where they teased Paradise... “this Christmas will be paradise” or sum like that. It’s for educational purposes. Thank you.

But yeah I remember it and from that day I never trusted them.

FfFfFfFF 55,193
They hinted at Paradise being released after C2C? Like they hinted at INLA being co-written by Diane? Just realised ASIB would've been the first era without any outtakes/ scrapped songs until Cover came into the picture.
theARTVampire 3,652
@Admins: Since it's been a few years and we understand that things can get changed pretty fast in music business, can you give us a hint on what was the original plan? That’s worse than saying Judas was an early version of John Wayne.

She died very young, but she wrote a poem about Heaven right before it happened, and that's why it's called 'Paradise'."
crybrowz 3,241
I don't think Paradise and Joanne are the same song. She said she wrote Joanne with Mark in 2016 when he asked her what she "needed to write about" and she said that this picture was the day they started it Paradise was written in at latest summer 2014 so my guess is they are totally different songs, though about a similar topic. Also Paradise was supposed to be a jazz song, and I don't get any jazz vibes at all from Joanne, which was written on an acoustic guitar.
