Why is "I Don't Know What Love Is" so underappreciated?

You are not the first person to mention this...but I don't get how? They do not sound similiar and other than the 1 line making up the title, they don't have a lot of lyrical similiarities either.

I would love to ask Gaga what went through her head when writing this song.

I'm only talking about the title lmao they don't sound anything like each other.

A lot of ASIB is slept on. People literally talk about Shallow, ARUTW and INL and while they're fantastic - what about:

Maybe It's Time

I Don't Know What Love Is

Before I Cry

Diggin' My Grave

Music to My Eyes

You are very correct. Music To My Eyes is absolutely beautiful. And it was so cool when Dido covered Maybe it's time. It's a very pleasant song.

Imo, I Don't Know What Love Is and Is That Alright? are the best songs from ASIB, and two of Gaga's best songs (ITA being my #1 with Bloody Mary)

Idk honestly to me it's just a hard song to listen to honestly

I think it's a great song, but it has no replay value to me personally

I love this song. It almost sounds like a ballad from a Latin American country or Brazil, with the instrumentals and harmonies.

My favorite song on the album in terms of melody but I can't stand how grating and nasally her voice sounds here when it should be smoothly sung for a song like that.

One of my favs from ASIB!

”It all seems like a dream, it’s not, I know, there’s something real out there for me.”

It’s so beautiful!!!

Maybe It’s Time is easily in my top 4 or 5 from the album, and Music To My Eyes is one of my favorites too. They’re so under-appreciated!
