There is NO way LG6 is ballads/country

The funny part in some comments is that some people here were supporting 'Lady Gaga needs to evolve' to justify the fact they wanted her to stop doing pop dance.

And now they are totally forggeting the evolving part of Lady Gaga just because she's doing the ballads they like.

OT : I hope LG6 will sound totally different than her previous records (Joanne and ASIB included).

Her not trying new things and not taking risks just to fit to ASIB success would be very disappointing of her.

So yeah I'd like her to take some risks on LG6, even if it's not as successful as ASIB.

ANALYSIS :firega:

If we can split Gaga’s output into either a “Lady” or “Gaga” mode, we have:

1. The Fame - Gaga

2. The Fame Monster - Gaga

3. Born This Way - Gaga

4. ARTPOP - Gaga

5. Cheek to Cheek - Lady

6. Joanne - Lady

7. A Star is Born - Lady

8. LG6 - Lady???

So based on this hypothetical 4-album cycle, Gaga’s next album should still be more “Lady” than “Gaga”, if that makes sense. But it will be the last “Lady” for a while and falls on the cusp of the next “Gaga” quadrilogy, so expect classic lyricism and instrumentation mixed with experimental tendencies :sis:

I am predicting a “Punk The Funk” hybrid she teased for what eventually became Joanne, flavoured with groovy Oriental and dirty Southern Gothic rock beats. That is, a unique orgasmathon as only Queen Mother knows how :v:

OT but did you used to have Robert Pattinson as your avi? Or am I thinking of someone else

I have had too many hot men as my avis so I am inclined to say yes even though i can vaguely remember it.

Yes I think I did.

They're not dance pop but not being dance pop doesn't make them a ballad :laughga:

Just Another Day is 100% a ballad

There will definitely be ballads on the record sis, she has them on every album :poot:

But I agree that it likely is an electronic record, probably house or electro-clash-based. I could see some electro-rock too since many of the producers we know about have that gritty edge to their productions. I'm here for that tbh, I think it would be a great sound for her to explore.

I wonder if she'd ever do an electronic ballad though. Something downtempo and soft but with synths and a strong melody.

A piano album (e.g. that one she joked about on that beauty video) à la Your Song/Joanne (Piano Version) would actually be a dream to me
