I think it's finally moving forward in production with an expectation for release on Netflix. I think the Kendrick Lamar issue also ran deeper, with rumors saying that his label didn't want him to be with somebody like Gaga, who was deemed "too gay". And of course, the Kanye West incident was way bigger than her, and luckily gave us MB1.0. But yeah, her scrapped projects are very notorious (do other pop artists have this much notoriety with abandoned/delayed projects?). I know it's likely that more of it is out of her control than we think it is, but it's almost the case that it's a surprise that she follows through with a project she talks about, than not! Kendrick and Gaga on the same label though? That’s how they met and collabed in the first place

That’s how they met and collabed in the first place I believe it was a (homophobic) producer of his who warned against working with her because her audience was allegedly "too gay" (my guess, Dr. Dre, considering his history with homophobia) and he wasn't established yet. Not the label. Gaga said something like that, so there is definitely no blacklist. Gaga also immediately backed off and like deleted it, too. That said, I wish some stans would let that scrapped collaboration go because a) Gaga and Kendrick spoke kindly of one another afterwards and b) trying to create fake drama with Kendrick, who is very respected, just doesn't...go well...and gets ugly because some so called fans get racist as f*ck. I mean, only 10% of the US is on social media. It's absolutely possible someone kept it quiet. Also, I think a lot of fans thought it was scam back in the day? Remember some charity had ads, etc. advertising some sh*t with Keanu recently and it turned out it was a complete scam.

The Kendrick Lamar collab that got scrapped also (he ended up doing a collab with Taylor Swift instead). The Cher collab that got shelved. And going further back we have the cancelled Kanye West tour (supposedly due to his mental health after the MTV VMA incident). Seems almost like a Gaga blacklist No need to create drama where there most likely is none lol. Kanye's label basically cancelled a bunch of sh*t after the VMA stunt and were probably trying to get him help, so it isn't allegedly. There were a bunch of articles about him back then and all the stuff that got sidelined. I forget how young some of you guys are—it was all over the place ten years ago. I'm still pretty young, but this place makes me feel old sometimes lol. As far as the rest, singers scrap or don't release music all the time. Gaga probably does more than most, but it doesn't seem like she does the most scrapping or cancelling out of all the big pop girls. Adele was supposed to collab with Wiz Khalifa, Bruno Mars (Bruno just ended up producing a song, instead), Phil Collins, and Sia. Phil was actually kind of salty that she scrapped their collaboration and talked about it to some journalist. She also allegedly had like over 100 tracks for 25 before narrowing it down. Billboard or Rolling Stone had an article about all the collabs that Bey has scrapped over the years, too.
Gagadonna 10,801
She recorded some "vocals" on their song Summer of Love. It's still not really a collab to me though
