I don't think its cool she got boo'd, but why does she care so much if people sell her signature online? So much so that she has a 'policy' to not do it. There's something greedy about being hung up on that imo. A signature isn't intellectual property, it's a scribble on a bit of paper or whatever that will sell for a few hundred max. Chances are whoever is going on to sell it isn't in a fortunate position financially, like what adult has the time to go and do that **** unless they kinda need to?

Yep - screw those aholes for doing that to her. Agree with the rest - those aren’t fans, they’re opportunists looking to make a buck off of a teenager.

Idk... I think its Shallow.mp3 to use a public figure's name to get money. You're almost ripping off a celebrity and selling it so you can get money... it doesn't sit right with me. Like celebs are people too

Because she’s not a commodity she’s a human. She’s also a minor. She deserves respect and love - nothing less. She will hug you and talk to you - when she realizes you don’t want that and you’re only looking to make money off her she’s out. I respect the hell out this girl for knowing her worth as a human being.

I get that, I’m not bashing Billie I like her very much as an artist and understand she should be treated with respect as much as anyone, especially considering her age. But, it is still just a signature, if it’s sold and someone has made a quick buck from it I don’t see why it’s an issue  I also will go back to my original point that if an adult is doing that sort of thing chances are they’re not making much money in life, there’s no need to get on a high horse over it imo.

Yeah but these people are ONLY seeing these celebs for the signature. They don't care that (Billie in this case) is an actual person. Like, if you were to meet Gaga, would you not say "how are you doing today? Hows life? Hows the dogs" or something along those lines? Thats what fans would do as they show a genuine interest in that person.

It just makes me a little angry that people see celebs as an income source and don't actually stop to have a conversation with them. Think of all the fans the round the world who want to meet "X" celeb, but they can never do it because of various circumstances... yet these people are getting the chance to meet them when they couldn't care less about them.

I understand what you’re saying in regards to your second paragraph, perhaps I’m seeing it from a different perspective. Yes there is parasitic qualities in what ‘eBayers’ are doing but I don’t think those people come to the decision to do that unless there is a degree of necessity. Like the genuine fans who want to meet their idol they’d have to be waiting outside of these places for hours on end, it’s desperate to me, maybe it’s because I can’t understand why they’d do that unless they’re really in need of the money yk? I can’t see a rich person or someone who has their life together doing that sort of ****.
