He posted it, twice, on Twitter. And he posted this as a US Senator, with millions of followers, while he is running for President. Pete was just a lowly Mayor.

I'm embarrassed I need to explain this to you because what i was saying was not complicated.  Nobody is criticizing Bernie in this thread.  They are MOCKING they way - sorry - people like you sound when you get outraged about petty things like Pete's picture.

Let me do another way, perhaps more clearly.  Those criticisms of Bernie are people trying to show you how stupid and uneffective it is when something small is blown out of proportion.

Mayor Pete was not a Presidential candidate at the time his picture was taken or at the time that his husband posted it. (back in 2017)

During the previous presidential primary Bernie Sanders supporters on GagaDaily were unfairly dismissed as "Bernie Bros." Now, Sanders supporters are unfairly dismissing Mayor Pete supporters as "neoliberal trolls."

I wonder if we will have LG6 by the time users on GagaDaily are calling Sasha Obama supporters "Sasholes" when she runs in the 2032 presidential primary.

Thank you for correcting me, I appreciate it. Now I know more about the situation. Still doesn’t mean Bernie should be criticized for this photo as he’s been a activist and been fighting for equality his whole life, and I still don’t understand why you attacked him like that. Neither am I. Never seen it, don't care. We already know that Buttigieg is nothing but an empty politician with no set political morals -- he has proven this within less than a year by switching on policies to appease to poll numbers. Marketing himself as somewhat progressive when he first entered the race, then swiftly switching to centrism once he realized he had no place within the progressive sphere. 

Meanwhile, Bernie hasn't changed his tone his entire life and political career. It's called integrity, Buttigieg should get some.

DADT repeal happened in 2011. Bernie didn't convince much people in 1995 either. 

Intentions are cute. Results are more important. 

By the way Pete enlisted in 2007. So he couldn't openly serve until years later when Obama got results.
