Thalia isn't bad as a singer but can't stand her acting. Paulina isn't bad singer either. Both have a few songs I love but for me the latin queen is Lucia Mendez.

Okay, both of you clearly don't seem to be aware that it was Universal Music that forced Paulina to make reggaeton music. There's even a thread about it. Now that she's out of that ungrateful label, she's free to release whatever music she likes.

A label doesn’t warrantee success, so if she’s free to release whatever she wants, let’s pray she gives the bops she used to deliver.

Are we really comparing Lali to someone like Nacho (who has almost 7 times more monthly listeners than Lali) that has been able to build a long lasting career in the Latin countries (as well as Miami, Los Angeles, etc)  since he started out with Chino?

 Lali has not been able to crossover from Argentina (where she is totally being eclipsed by trap artists such as Duki, Cazzu, etc)  

Anyways, forced or not, unauthentic or not, she’s far from what she used to be and clearly not on Thalía’s level. Poor girl can’t even have more impact with her “meaningful” new music than Thalia’s organic/meme songs from her instagram posts.

What you really don’t understand is that what has made songs like No Me Acuerdo, Desde esa noche, etc. Viral in the first place, is the constant support from her (mostly gay) fans.

They are obviously well supported by the GP but that cult base that Thalía has built is something that Paulina has not been able to maintain throughout the years and that’s why she has not able to score even a decent hit anyways. This is coming from an objective analysis not just stan wars lol.
 

And that new video is not even from a single, it’s to commemorate the release the release of her album a year ago. It has not got any kind of support from her nor the label. She’s busy focusing on the Grammy week and getting award for her long lasting and successful career.

Last time Paulina had a hit outside Mexico was 2014 Mi Nuevo Vicio (Song of the Summer in Spain). Last time Thalia had a hit outside mexico or latin america was Arrasando. Paulina's just been on the Spanish version of The Voice. No one is jealous of Thalia's success, it just doesn't make any sense that you're all saying Pau is forgotten and a thing from the past when that isn't true. Is Thalia even touring nowadays? She was an actress before being a singer and she married that powerful man in the bussiness that launched her career. Pau did it all by herself from 1992, 27 years ago. 27.
