They got a massive library of old content, but iirc Mandalorian is the only D+ original dropping at launch, and the MCU shows are months/years away so they need to find a way to keep people hooked for as long as possible. Considered going the 123movies/shady site route, but it's 7 bucks and I'm splitting the cost with my brother, so it's worth it at launch for me tbh.
