Imagine if Gaga released an album in 2006  prior to The Fame with the following singles

1. Second Time Around
2. Nothing On (But the Radio)
3. No Way
4. Out of Control

Could it have been a success?

well I don't think those songs were made by 2006 but if they we're then it would have slapped

Pop Music and Lady Gaga forever!

The reason why she didn't release anything prior to TF is because her label thought it would flop so...No :enigma:

No. Just Dance was huge when it was released. I don't think any other debut single would have given her the same success.

1. Second Time Around (recorded in 2009)
2. Nothing On (But the Radio) (recorded in 2010)
3. No Way (recorded in 2009)
4. Out of Control (recorded in 2009)

I don't believe this could've worked for 2006.  Though, Gaga did have some songs out in 2006 like Blueberry Kisses, Musicland, Retrosexual....etc.

Well tbh its a combination of having the right song + luck. So we will never know. I dont think those songs could achieve what Just Dance did though. I am glad the real super SMASH Poker Face was the second single :applause:

I'm aware of the years these songs were written/recorded, that's why I said imagine in the OP.

Answer 1: Yes it would’ve been a successful era.

Answer 2: All of the named songs were made in between TF & TFM eras.

It's a little too hard to imagine whenever these songs have the influence of post-2008-pop all throughout.
