It's annoying for sure, but in a way it's normal… I mean, when something/someone is almost perfect, you always focus on little details that destroy your vision of that perfection. I don't mean to say that it's a good thing, but it's normal...

(Of course I won't talk about the ones who are clearly MEAN and who direspect her and bully her all the time, especially on Twitter, these can die already)

I bet the majority of the people whining about LG's makeup/LG6/C2C/her vocals are the same people who claw their way to the front of the pit and pelt 50 letters at her hoping they'll get to cuddle up to her at the piano for "Million Reasons" (a song that I'm sure they drag online)  so they can hear her "strained vocals" up close and then get a backstage M&G so they can study her "bad" makeup and "bad" wig in person. Of course, I don't think most of them would have the nerve to actually critique her (or Sarah) in person the way they do online, and they'd probably act like her biggest fan.

I don't think it's healthy to blindly worship anyone, celebrities included, and constructive critique and discussion are good. There are plenty things once could critique about Gaga, just as there are about anyone. But so many of these comments come across as ignorant, entitled, immature, irrational, and at times even misogynistic, and people seem to forget that there's a real person, Stefani, behind the Lady Gaga facade, and Stefani's not invincible. She sends out so much love and kindness to others, and in return, people speculate about and critique her mental health, physical health, voice, appearance and what she does in her free time without really knowing what's going on behind the scenes. The poor woman's even villainized in fan fiction!

I do realize that some of these criticisms come from people who care about her and are just concerned, but sometimes this concern comes across as condescending, as though people here know more about what she should be doing than she or her team do. And who knows, maybe some of the commenters are Emmy-winning MUAs or multiple-award-winning musicians or managers for huge celebrities...but I bet most of the people voicing these critiques aren't. At the end of the day, we have to trust Gaga to do what she feels is best for herself, even if we disagree with it. We're not going to like everything she does. We're not going to like every look of hers. We're not going to like every song she writes and performs, or every role she has in a film or TV show, etc. But there's very little we can do about her career other than decide not to buy/download/stream music of hers we don't like, not to watch movies and TV shows that we don't like, not to buy Haus Labs if we hate makeup, etc.

There are tons of musicians whose music I don't like or whose behavior in public I can't stand (same with actors, athletes, authors...), some of whom are beloved on this site, but I see no point in picking them apart. Instead, I avoid their music, I don't watch interviews with them, etc.

This same thread has been posted every week since ARTPOP. Gaga is smothered in fans worshiping her daily, drowning her in compliments, telling her how she's changed their life every time she steps out the door. A few critical threads on a forum are not her concern given she hasn't even browsed here in years.

I do get some people's critiques but there are comments here that aren't constructive and just plain mean.
