CAN WE ALL just acknowledge how Gaga said she is sick with a horrid sinus infection and yet there's been what seems like a million threads about how her voice is declining? Guys she's actually ill and that affects your voice hugely. Can those threads stop now? OT: It sounds like you had a blast and I am super super jealous of your experience! So happy for you that your letter got picked an you got to go up on stage - what a once in a lifetime experience!
PerfectGUY 7,822
Above the fact that this story is beyond amazing I love that you took the time and risked to ask Gaga for your friend to come on stage with you. That is so nice and selfless Also, I must say that I'm so glad she picked your letter as it is so well written. Sometimes I get frustrated at Gaga picking up messy/unthoughtful letters but yours was so original and well executed that I feel you particularly deserved this moment PS : I was at the Halloween Enigma show too! But not in GA as I brought my family with me to the show from France

MonsterDad 1,365
On 11/4/2019 at 10:23 AM, ElectricHaus said: I've been a member of Gagadaily for so many years. I've seen so many of you have phenomenal moments and I feel like i've read every "my experience" post on here and finally I want to post mine! Thank you to anyone that decides to read this, as I know it's going to be long. So i've been a little monster for over a decade. I've been to the monster ball, BTWball, Artrave, 2 Joannes and now 2 Enigmas. JWT was the first time I ever decided to throw a letter when I was mainstage center barricade in Dallas but my letter was not picked. Still had the time of my life and had SEVERAL eye contact moments with gaga. I bought my Halloween Enigma ticket 14 months ago (August 2018 during presale) and of course had to snatch early entry. I will go ahead and say, early entry is THE BEST kind of ticket to have at Enigma! So if you've been hesitant to buy it don't be! Face value they are around $320 and worth every single penny. Once the time came for me to start booking hotel/flights I realized I would be in town for the November 2nd show and I knew i'd have to attend that one as well. I looked at resale tickets FOR WEEKS! We all know how ugly resale is for Enigma but I knew I had to be there. It's crazy because eventually a standard GA ticket dropped to around $400 (which is cheap when it comes to resale GA) and so I snatched.....with fees it was a little over $500. I cringed of course cause i've never paid that much for a concert ticket in my life and it was only STANDARD GA.....or so I thought. After purchasing I looked at the ticket in my Ticketmaster account and noticed the reseller had labeled it wrong on the resale and it was actually EARLY ENTRY! Then I felt better about spending the money I had spent lmao. I just felt like wow this was definitely meant to be..... HALLOWEEN SHOW So let's get to Vegas! Halloween was a special day! I had NO IDEA what the early entry line would be like so I got to the venue around 11:20ish and there were only 5 people in line! We had the marker system going (which if you've ever done GA at a Gaga show before you know what this is) I was #6 in line upon arrival. The people in front of me had flown from Germany and london! I was blown away! Now please don't be scared to go to shows alone! I went COMPLETELY by myself and made friends the second I got in line. Monsters are so so kind. We talked literally about everything Gaga and life! It's always so special in GA lines. I had decided since I was doing 2 Enigma shows early entry that I would do front row catwalk for Halloween and do MainStage for November 2nd. So I didn't bring any letters to throw for Halloween because there truly is no point. I do want to say Being front row walkway is SO FUN butttt not the best view of the show. I'm not sure that everyone knows this but they actually section off a section of walkway standing for m&g/VIP. So the BEST Walkway standing spot you can't even get unless you're vip! Wanted to say that so everyone knew. But we were legit right next to the section that was closed off and it was amazing! I'm sure everyone here knows what songs she does on the runway so i'm not gonna summarize but if you don't know I can for sure fill you in! I had studied the show SO many times so I knew what I was getting myself into! Nothing crazy happened during the Halloween show but hearing gaga yell "HAPPY F*CKING HALLOWEEN" gave me goosebumps real quick. Her energy was amazing as per usual! After the halloween show I had a day off but saw Gwen Stefani! Which if you're in Vegas and a Gwen/No Doubt fan definitely hit her show up because it was REALLY good and tickets are very reasonably priced! NOVEMBER 2ND SHOW (LETTER/ONSTAGE/M&G) For this show I had made a friend on twitter (my twitter: @Shookavenue) (My friend's twitter: @Imnotcursed) and was so relieved because that meant I actually had someone I could meet up with and line up with! So we got to the venue at around 10:30ish for this show! I do want to make a point that if your show is during the week don't stress about getting there before 11 because the EE line is DEAD but if it's on a weekend try to get their a little earlier! So me and my friend Mandy had planned to throw letters! Mandy was originally going to throw her letters and I throw mine but a few days before the show she decided she didn't want to throw her own because this was her first show and she didn't know if she could handle being onstage because she was already so anxious/nervous/excited and all the feelings. Instead Mandy (being the amazing person she is) decided she'd just print mine out and help me throw my letter! So I had bought Holographic envelopes that we BEAUTIFUL and changed color when you looked at them. She bought similar ones with unicorns and different colorful shapes on them. We knew we wanted to be front row dead and center (in front of the drums). So we waited in line all day, made amazing friends (HI IF YOU'RE READING THIS)! We did the number system again we were #5 and #6! Of course there is a bathroom nearby, food all around, etc. So when we needed something we just went and got it. The line is VERY casual and people are very respectful! So we get let in and escorted down to the floor (single file with security and they are strict) we got our spot! RIGHT in front of the drums. Mandy and I both admitted after everything that happened we both felt something super special. A special feeling we both had waiting in line and waiting for the show to start on barricade. I can't explain it. It's like we knew something was going to happen but didn't want to admit it to the other person. So the show started! Gaga was amazing as per usual! We were SO CLOSE! We made eye contact with her SEVERAL times and she was looking at us a ton because we were doing what we could of the choreo. It's such an amazing show! So alejandro starts....and I'm getting very antsy because I know the time is coming! We both agreed we wouldn't be one of those people that throws letters WHILE the song is still going. So we waited until she posed and we started chunking our letters (in envelopes) and ones we had printed and crumbled! To me I didn't think any really landed in the best spot and I got a sinking feeling in my stomach that she definitely wasn't gonna pick mine. THEN she leaned down and picked up one of my holographic envelopes. WE FREAKING LOST IT. We were hitting each other, screaming, crying, jumping! Gaga then read my letter and i'll link the video down below! Security came to me, introduced themselves, asked for my name and told me to head to security on the runway. So I grabbed Mandy and we slowly made our way through the crowd. I made it to the other side and they gave me the run down (be respectful, don't do anything crazy, don't pick her up, etc.)! Now i'm standing in between the barricade and the stage. Gaga is looking at me while reading (she saw us fearing tf out when she picked up our letter too lmao how embarrassing). She had to point out that she also sold out stadiums and of course I was pointing yelling "you right I forgot to put that in there"! It was a moment let me tell you. So I go onstage and hug her! I don't know how I kept my composure. I asked gaga if mandy could also come onstage (she was mentioned in my letter) and gaga allowed her up as well. We sat at the piano where Gaga said things like " You are one good ass reason i'll tell you......i'll never stop because of you....and you're not gonna have to wait that long for the album so don't cry about it"! I had referenced the album in my letter saying i'd wait another 84 years if that's what it took to come out (which she loved lol). She stressed to the parents in the audience how important it is to make sure you're kid is ok (I referenced the bullying I had gone through for my 7th nerve damage in my face in my letter). She asked the crowd to scream if they cared for me and Mandy. At one point I said "I love you" and she said it back. I can't express how special it truly was. To be sitting side by side with the woman i've supported and followed for over a decade. I could hear her raw vocals from her mouth and not a speaker.....I'll never get over that. Surprisingly its not too scary being up there because you can't see hardly anyone past the 3rd row. The seats look like a sea of darkness and i'm sure its just because of the lights during Million Reasons......The song ended and she insisted we use purell because she was sick with a horrid sinus infection and was running a fever. She gave me too much and it went all over my legs but we laughed. It was so cute. Then she hugged us and invited us backstage after the show. We got our m&g wristbands and headed back to our standing spot (which was saved surprisingly) and reunited with our early entry babes. We all hugged and sobbed. It was a moment! Its amazing how 8hrs of being in line together will bring people so close. So the wrest of the show was a blur. I was in shock. I Barely remember much after that because I stood there and was shaking and trying to calm down. She did look at us as she was walking out for shallow and I just knew she now knows how I feel about her. How I want her to look after herself first and foremost and that she'll never lose me. The show ended and I had so many people come up to me and congratulate us. They explained my letter made them cry and that it was so brave. It was so sweet and I had no idea what to say other than THANK YOU. We found security and were escorted to m&g and stood in line with 21 others. There were 23 of us total. A lot of really good people! Most talked to us and asked us questions and were so shocked along with us hahaha. So the team came out and just said it would be quick, she wouldn't sign anything and you couldn't have your phone out. All very understandable rules. Mandy said I should go first so that's how it went. When it was my turn Gaga lit up with a smile and waved so I ran straight into another hug and told her how thankful I was for her, that I loved her and that I hoped she would feel better soon. She told me I was so brave and that she loved me. I can't remember exactly but i'm pretty sure we were holding hands hahaha my mind was too shook to remember. Then security was like OK get on the right side of her for the pic and I was like "well can I stand on the left because of my face...if I stand on the right it won't look like i'm smiling" and security was like NO and gaga goes "yeah! thats totally fine!" she totally understood which melted my heart. we took the pic and I turned to her and told her I loved her again and to feel better. I went to walk away and she wasn't done. She was like " I just want you to know you're so handsome and I wouldn't even know (referring to my facial paralysis) it just looks like you're smiling" so I melted and teared up and said thanked her and said it meant a lot and that I loved her and it was over. SO MANY PEOPLE have told me for years YOU DONT WANNA MEET YOUR IDOL they are never what they seem to be in person. My idol was EVERYTHING I ever thought she would be and more. She was so genuine and loving and considerate. I'll never get over it. It was so perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better experience meeting my main girl. HERE IS A VIDEO OF HER READING MY LETTER. P.S. so sorry for grammatical error and spelling. I still shake while talking/typing about it lmao. Were you the bigger cat that was lying on the ground in the EE line? She's married to me but her heart belongs to Gaga
Celina 118
Congratulations! Your letter was so touching & so caring and understanding. I was at the same show and it genuinely made me so happy for you (and for her, to have a reminder of how much people really care about her wellbeing) as she was reading it. Also, the stadium sass was adorable

I remember you writing about your experience getting the VIP banquette tickets, etc. Omg fenomenal, I would like to share our experience but I can’t start a post since I’m a newbie. We went to both show and the meet and greet was super super sweet! For the enigma show we had banquette seating, like I shared before and for the piano and jazz we were sitting on stage ❤️ I’m still in the clouds with Gaga’s bodyguard, so so so hot! OMG, you need to share more please! Especially everyone here is curious about the onstage seating, and of course, the cute bodyguard! Was this Peter? I know you don't want to hijack this thread though, understandably...There is a thread in the "News and Events" section called something like "Gaga eats a man's wedding ring." We've been discussing onstage seating for jazz & piano there – perhaps you can share your experience there? Alternatively, I'd be happy to "start" a thread for you and make an initial post that says "please see below" and then let you take over writing it, and that way, you could write about both shows freely. By the way, if you want to share videos of the OP on stage with Gaga, I think you could upload them to YouTube and then link to YouTube within you post here. Not sure how else to do it as I am tech challenged, but I don't think you can just attach the file here. I suppose you also could link to dropbox or something like that, but the point is, you need to have an external site hosting the file.
