I don't see where she shaded Gaga in the first place. Most of yall are delusional and just want drama. I would prescribe getting off GGD and living you life.

It was a minor, dark joke or a bit of snark. Amanda didn't do anything wrong, it was the people who were looking to be angry or the people who already hated Gaga who used Amanda's to tweet to go a bit mad. People were tweeting at Gaga that she was a worthless b*tch, to go kill herself, etc. Some of the comments were really horrible.

That said, people do need to remember that less than 10% of the States is on twitter and even less of that is about entertainment news, etc. Twitter can be an echo chamber, and can make small dramas seem much bigger.

“And what about it?” I believe they just explained in the post you quoted or can you not read? Take your little Ari quote you think is so witty (though it’s been used by every stan on the internet 😒) & move on ✌🏻

You clearly don’t know what the phrase means.

No need to be rude and get angry.

Do y’all really act like this in real life? Like honestly, you do realize people are allowed to respond to something they find offensive? Especially given that Amanda went to actual prison for something she didn’t do. It’s pretty obvious that Amanda is an intelligent woman & knows what a metaphor is. Not to mention those of you saying she got famous for being sent to prison as if she planned on it or wanted that. I swear some of you are the unhappiest people...

It’s not that obvious seeing her dumb tweet.

Like if I was send to prison for something I didn't do  maybe I would have been triggerd by gaga's tweet too. Like their is no need for this fanbase to be nasty about it.

Her own dumbass fault for mistaking a metaphor for a real statement.

More like monsters assuming she's being dumb and dead serious for not understanding a metaphor. I mean, she's not writing a paragraph opposing Gaga's tweet. You all are being extra and bitter

Daylight Jokers

Her tweet triggered people to hate on Gaga. Hadn't she made it an issue, it wouldn't have gotten messy.

Shouldn't have started this. She's blocking people and stuff but monsters will never leave her alone ...

People were hating on Gaga on Twitter cause of this stupid tweet. Amanda was getting hate too. This is why she had to tweet this.

Imagine if she had just sat there and ate her food.

Metaphors are something one has a handle on by 6th grade. They're really that simple.

This Amanda Knox decided to bring attention to herself for one reason or another.

While I do feel for her, there are certainly smarter ways to bring attention to oneself without incurring negative wrath.

So either way, she's a dumbass. Because she either doesn't know what a metaphor is, or ran straight forward with this tweet, not thinking of the consequences.

I don't care if this is a Gaga thing or not. I'm calling out stupidity and lack of foresight when I see it.

......or maybe it's just a harmless lighthearted some kind of dark humor, making fun of her prison-y past experience. I mean, gosh, you all and the whole overreaching negativity. I mean that is just my assumption, but why not assume the least. You are being extra, and interpret that one-liner tweet to the negative light. Like, come on, are you bunch of lifeless adolescence, making a big fuss of that reply? That's not even that deep. Like hell, you guys make me metaphorically scratch my head. My brain just don't understand, literally. Gosh this cringes me so much

The thing is, on the internet, there is no tone.  So we have to rely on instincts. If a person comes off as serious, then their toneless tweets come off as serious.

Gaga tweeted a serious sounding metaphor.

This woman is basically someone who has been innocently imprisoned for a good portion of her life.

We have all rights to take it seriously. Actually the hints lean more towards seriousness than a joke.

Plus also, I'd like to mention, if she thought of a joke, she could have honestly kept it to herself. Had a giggle at her own expense. She shared this, without tone or context, and just expected people to think it was a joke?

And I do enjoy dark humor. And thinking about this joke is funny, yes. But like I said, we have no tone or context and she basically had no foresight while hindsight is 20/20.

Her response invited some backlash to Gagz, just like how some people here perceive “Fame is prison” as an ignorant statement. Like how? It just basically means that Fame is also a form of “prison”. I don’t see how it violates people who were imprisoned. :saladga:

No. People invited themselves to bash Gaga by making wrong conclusions.

I'm sorry but if people gets triggered so bad for a metaphor which is not even a bad word to use then I don't see those people getting far in their lifes if every small little **** like that bothers them
