My only concern right now is will the GP be here for it?

just imo, to be fair to the thesis (which, full-stop yes) if the GP is here for it, it would not be The Antithesis; like … Baby One More Time to Blackout -- the narrative would be predicated on the 180 pivot, or proverbial dismantling of the manufactured market-darling celebrity effigy (creative rebellion against generic consumer reception -- or something to that effect, maybe?)

but, to be completely fair, it’s wbkgaga’s thesis, so i can’t really say one way or the other … i’m just rambling for the most part

Yeah that’s seems more appropriate rather than it being a straight up antithesis. It’s not my theory btw. It’s from the twitter account (wbkgaga).

That could be true. I mean her tweets seem very bitter and depressive while she is positive and happy about her being an artist at her shows.

Didn't she admit she was depressed during ASIB era when the movie and OST had huge success ? That could the mood of the record she made during that time tbh.

Those negative tweets about fame could be actually a hint of LG6.

Wasn't she rooting for "the decay of the blonde superstar" concept before ARTPOP? What if she's realizing this? :popcorn:I want news so badly omg

I think her whole pop career is about the fame and the rise and fall of a pop star and I've believed this since the beginning.

The Fame was about the rise.

TFM was about the dark side of fame.

She is a performance artist and has always had this narrative in her performances like The Fame Factory for example.

She's had her downfall (ARTPOP era) and the gp saying "we love her again" (Sound of music/ASIB).

I think she is always going to continue to explore that theme. I think Joanne was like a separate entity to the whole fame thing but she still included some aspects like when she explains what PI is about and she still included some aspects in the ARTPOP era like when she released the Fame perfume at that time. Why would she name her perfume that when it was aleady a done concept a few eras earlier.

I think LG6 will continue the narrative.

I’ll undoubtedly like it regardless but I think it’s time she leave the theme of “fame” behind. We’ve had it whether large or small be a theme for four albums.

I doubt it. Gaga wants to sing songs that people can relate to. She wants to feel connected to the world. Singing about fame or whatever is in the past for her.
