Fizzy 2,191
BB Hot 100 calculations for the week based on all 7 days of itunes bars, current airplay and a streaming estimate #position, sales (000's) + Mediabase airplay (A.I. millions) + streaming (Ks x 6%) = points, artist, song, (change on Hot 100) #1 196 + 120 + 42 = 253 Maroon 5 One More Night (=) #2 283 + 32 + 27 = 234 PSY Gangnam Style (+9) #3 156 + 101 + 46 = 218 Fun. Poor Christina! :/ Well I think Sales should be like 75% and Airplay like 70%! Magoo 6
Well I think Sales should be like 75% and Airplay like 70%! Because people buy more than listen! The average contributions to the Hot 100 points is something like 43% sales, 40% airplay and 17% streaming, so sales do carry the highest proportion (just). Don't confuse these %s with the multipliers used to work out the Hot 100 points. Consider an 'average' song from the top 20 or so which might have figures like this: Sales/week 132K multiply by 65% to give 86 points (43%) Airplay 114m multiply by 70% to give 80 points(40%) Streaming 567K multiply by 6% to give 34 points (17%) Airplay has a higher multiplier than sales but a lower contribution to the Hot 100, because the sales number in 000's is more often than not higher than the airplay AI in million. Klou 2,414
Anything Could Happen is finally getting airplay. I thought it would never happen Debuted at #46 on Pop Radio. It's already #171 on iTunes with the little airplay (and I'm assuming from the banner ads).

That I do understand! I meant was like its contribution shud be more than what it is. Even if it still counts more!
