BB Hot 100 calculations for the week based on all 7 days of itunes bars, current airplay and a streaming estimate

#position, sales (000's) + Mediabase airplay (A.I. millions) + streaming (Ks x 6%) = points, artist, song, (change on Hot 100)

#1 196 + 120 + 42 = 253 Maroon 5 One More Night (=)

#2 283 + 32 + 27 = 234 PSY Gangnam Style (+9)

#3 156 + 101 + 46 = 218 Fun. Some Nights (=)

#4 188 + 123 + 0 = 208 Taylor Swift WANEGBT (-2)

#5 119 + 117 + 43 = 202 Flo Rida Whistle (-1)

#6 102 + 143 + 24 = 191 P!nk Blow Me 1LK (-1)

#7 91 + 114 + 39 = 178 Justin Bieber ALAYLM (-1)

#8 124 + 82 + 31 = 169 Alex Clare Too Close (=)

#9 94 + 96 + 30 = 158 Owl City + Carly Rae Jepsen GT (=)

#10 77 + 112 + 29 = 157 Neon Trees Everybody Talks (=)

#11 43 + 124 + 42 = 157 Ellie Goulding Lights (-4)

#12 78 + 73 + 40 = 142 Carly Rae Jepsen CMM (+1)

#13 44 + 115 + 25 = 132 Katy Perry Wide Awake (+1)

#14 89 + 61 + 22 = 122 Hunter Hayes Wanted (+8)

#15 66 + 83 + 21 = 122 Nicki Minaj Pound the Alarm (+2)

#16 51 + 80 + 33 = 122 Maroon 5 Payphone ft. Khalifa (-1)

#17 66 + 77 + 23 = 120 Chris Brown Don't Wake Me Up (+4)

#18 33 + 89 + 36 = 120 Gotye STIUTK ft Kimbra (-2)

#19 40 + 95 + 22 = 114 Demi Lovato GYHAB (-1)

#20 48 + 63 + 37 = 112 Kanye West Mercy (=)

#21 96 + 32 + 21 = 106 Phillip Phillips Home (+2)

#22 39 + 76 + 26 = 105 David Guetta + Sia Titanium (-2)

#23 117 + 26 + 5 = 99 Kanye West+JZ Clique (-11)

#24 64 + 45 + 25 = 98 Jason Mraz I Won't Give Up (+2)

#25 73 + 53 + 5 = 90 Carrie Underwood Blown Away (+3)

~#30 98 + 17 + 2 = 78 Christina Aguilera Your Body (New)

*points = 65% x sales/K + 70% x Mediabase airplay (A.I. millions) + 6% x on demand streaming/K

P!nk will lose some sales of Blow Me due to 'complete my album'

Approx week's sales for Gaga: PF 4.8, TEOG 4.6K, JD 3.9K, BTW 3.9, BR 3.8K, Y+I 3.7K, Americano 2.5K

MTN higher than Your Body!

Poor Christina! :/

Well I think Sales should be like 75% and Airplay like 70%! Because people buy more than listen!

Well I think Sales should be like 75% and Airplay like 70%! Because people buy more than listen!

The average contributions to the Hot 100 points is something like 43% sales, 40% airplay and 17% streaming, so sales do carry the highest proportion (just). Don't confuse these %s with the multipliers used to work out the Hot 100 points.

Consider an 'average' song from the top 20 or so which might have figures like this:

Sales/week 132K multiply by 65% to give 86 points (43%)

Airplay 114m multiply by 70% to give 80 points(40%)

Streaming 567K multiply by 6% to give 34 points (17%)

Airplay has a higher multiplier than sales but a lower contribution to the Hot 100, because the sales number in 000's is more often than not higher than the airplay AI in million.

Anything Could Happen is finally getting airplay. I thought it would never happen Debuted at #46 on Pop Radio. It's already #171 on iTunes with the little airplay (and I'm assuming from the banner ads).

What's anything could happen?

Ellie's lead single off her new album next month. You may have seen the banner ads for it around GGD :)

That I do understand! I meant was like its contribution shud be more than what it is. Even if it still counts more!

But still Thank U!

If Magoo's predictions are right and xtina really debuts at #30 AND peaks there...:rip:

That'll show the X stans for constantly saying Gaga was over after MTN

Your Body jumped two spots on iTunes and is bright green. Still has video & voice performance.

I really hope YB is a hit. It deserves it.
