WHY is Adele getting so much love? Her pretense is lame and never ends, and she's bland and shrill.

Sometimes I wish Gaga would do an entire album made of powerhouse jazz just to cap that b---h up for good.

She has the whole anti-Gaga image. People don't think that its partly constructed but it is. She is the "I don't need any gimmicks, I just stand up and sing" image. It has worked pretty well.

We know, Jhony.

Part of the reason Adele is pimped so heavily (pun unintended) is because record labels want her to take from Gaga's demand.

No. But it is a great album.

Seriously speaking though, Rihanna is way more interesting and attractive (although not as classically beautiful) as a person than Beyonce. Beyonce must be the most boring superstar ever*. She just doesn't seem very fun and relaxed. Had I the chance to hang out with either of them, I'd choose Rihanna.

*her occasional "ghetto" stunts are laughable at best.

This is not meant to be shade in anyway whatsoever. Just an observation I made when reading the comments from my local radio station's facebook post about "Diamonds."

-Didn't love it.

-Who cares.

-YUCK!

-Did not like it:(

-dislike

-don't like. i also don't listen to any rihanna or Chris brown music at all. I don't support people that abuse women or go back to people that abuse them.

-Horrible

Not ONE positive comment.

maybe is not generic enough. I love Diamonds though.

That's what I was thinking. Guess people aren't used to Rihanna having more serious songs.

Diamonds is great sounding, emotional song. I don't think any body can deny that. Honestly at least ;)

i think it is. 21 broke so many records and catered on wide demographic audience. for pop stars to be really successful, they shouldn't just focus on specific audience (e.g. tweens, freaks and weirdos).

Her voice is pitchy, as usual, and to be honest the song isn't astounding. However, Sia really outdid herself with the composition.

maybe i just like it because i love Rihanna haha. I love melody and lyrics. You're right Sia did great. I love the begining lyrics the most. "Find light in the beautiful sea, i choose to be happy."

You don't think Adele is doing that?

Anyways, whatever, go with what you believe. Not here to take you away from liking her, that's pointless.
