I hope Adele's song is not only good but also blocks everyone else in the universe from #1. :saira:

MANiCURE1295 8,673
Okay so here's my thoughts on recent songs. Die Young - Expected way different. But Ke$ha once again fills her niche in Pop music. Meaningless pop music. It's catchy and its just fun. I like this song. Diamonds - Bland, boring at first listen. But shows off Rihanna's vocals. I think that as I listen to it it will grow on me. Begin Again - Classic Taylor Swift! WAY better then WANEGBT. Sweet, cute and romantic. I like. I have a soft spot for her I guess haha
Americano 31,061
I don't mind Begin Again anymore. Diamonds kind of bored me. Even though it's a ballad, it's still rather safe. She's released plenty of ballads before that were better.

Americano 31,061
+ Good for Rihanna though with ANOTHER hit. If she can start selling albums (in the US, she already can internationally), she'll easily replace Gaga as the new global star Edited September 26, 2012 by Bryan

Americano 31,061
Don't want to agree, but yeah very true. Her video views slay, and she's already taking over on social media. (And obviously way ahead singles wise. Gaga is losing video/social/singles appeal) October 1st releases: Bruno Mars set for a massive comeback, another T. Swift promo single, and One Direction hits iTunes. Jake 0
Rihanna won't start selling albums magically eight years into her career. Same with her touring power. I honestly would consider Katy a bigger threat to Gaga than her. She can still gain a lot of cultural relevance with her next album if she wants to make something worth hearing. I think that chance has passed for Rihanna.
Nick 29
Wouldn't you think a MASSIVE smash like WFL would have at least helped her get a #1 album with TTT? Well it didn't. Didn't she open with 55k or something? All Rihanna has on her is the GP, and that's not going to get her the masses of album sales anytime soon. She needs to work on gathering a core fanbase before I consider her a threat to Gaga.
Jase 13,056
Hoping the new Guetta/Sia record smashes. It's hovering around the lower regions of the top 10 here, so the video premiere should boost it up even higher <

Ri selling alberms would be the downfall to all pop stars Diamonds is okay... something I didn't expect. Glad she stepped away from the dance trend. Hope she gets a Top 10. Heard that Adele slayage was coming soon. Magoo where do you get your #'s?
