Not sure why you’re acting like Interscum has always and only ever given what she has asked for: artistic freedom. Our gurl has released only EIGHT singles in the last SEVEN years, even though she has probably written over a hundred. Interscum has come in between the relationship she once had with her fans. It’s truly sad that they still doubt her, they still don’t trust her, they still don’t let her communicate to us as freely as she used to. And making Gaga pay for her own music video was not only unprecedented. It was cruel. No artist has ever been subjected to such humiliation by their own label. In comparison; interscope is THE most lenient of all mainstream record companies. Have they given her artistic FREEDOM? No, but nobody on a mainstream label truly has that, for example Gaga’s deal is she gets freedom of time and manages her own schedule BUT her label execs get the final say on the album singles and they can be in a middle ground of what ends up on the album. But she gets control over the visuals and what not. It’s also fans who ruined our relationship with her; this fansite is an example of that tbh as are a LOT of other and online, and Gaga chose to not converse with us anymore as she started to feel like we invade her privacy. Which we do, and even verbally come for her team just because they can’t make her look photoshopped irl or give her makeup like Kim K or hair like Beyoncé etc. Overall the relationship has deteriorated becuase of fans mostly ones who joined after the BTW era tbh. And Gaga didn’t have to pay for it; she simply could’ve just did what they suggested and moved on from ARTPOP but she ended up wasting money (in a business sense, because the visuals are stellar) and that was her choice to make. She even got Hearst Castle to let her film there when no one had been allowed for decades. She wouldn’t ever leave interscope anyway tbh because she knows the music business is very controlled and structured amongst the big companies more than ever now that streaming is the driving force. Overall her label is probably the fairest amongst the big 3. Def Jam, Capitol and Interscope.

Can't take any adult serious going around saying Interscum. 🙄 If gaga was that unhappy she would move labels and make massive noise about it. She won't be bullied by industry executives. Gaga literally has fans up on stage with her every night reading their letters, hugging them, reassuring everyone that she will always be there for them. She posts regularly on social media what are clearly her posts.. I honestly don't know what you are talking about. Why would she want to come online and to an account or a site that regularly trashes her, her team, her boyfriends, her looks, her make up, her shows, and most recently her voice . I feel awful for her knowing she reads some of that crap. This is a woman who says over and over that she has bad days and struggles with self esteem, has PTSD from being bullied etc yet her fans can be the biggest bullies of all. Now she is in the public eye and trolling comes with the territory but I'm always stunned that it comes from her fans. So yeah, next time you wonder why she isnt having full on conversations with us maybe unfollow the likes of tealslut, ladygagaspussy etc. You all know the ones. The usernames alone will tell you all you need to know. I also think there is only so many "opinions" she can take. She doesn't need fans complaining when they are often completely ignorant, misinformed or simply biased.

I thought she started it in september 2017 Gaga spent 6 weeks in the studio with DJWS from Feb to March 2017. We don't know for sure what they were working on, but: - The Why Did You Do That? scene was shot later that year, which probably means that the song wasn't done yet in the main filming season (April-May-June) - Is That Alright? must have taken at most one hour to write, one hour to produce/mix. - Before I Cry was created in 2018 - Joanne (Piano Version) was produced late 2017 - Hair Body Face is far from being finished in the movie - Heal Me was also at an early stage when they shot the iHeart Radio scene Basically, it means that during these 6 weeks, for A Star Is Born, they only did The Cure (in full), Look What I Found (maybe in full) and Is That Alright? (maybe in full), partially Heal Me, very partially Hair Body Face. 6 weeks seems to be a lot for this. However, they could have worked on Joanne's B-side (the one with RedOne's Frankensteined) but why would they have released The Cure if they already had new songs for Joanne, especially if consider the hype that the Super Bowl left? Prismatic Light 1,440
She's just teasing again you all, imagine thinking she started recently because she said "I'm making" instead of "I finished" lol. They’re all kinda the same, and I believe they all would have treated Gaga the same. “She’s too big to fail”, so they didn’t know what to do with her, and were too afraid to let her take any new risks. Yeah the fans also ruined the relationship as well as her label, but social media stans in particular moreso than actual fans. I’m glad Gaga paid for G.U.Y. herself. She made something beautiful out of something quite tragic, which was the kind of the ethos of ARTPOP. It was a passion project, music not the bling. 1 hour ago, Madling said: 😂 What is up with you. She didn’t just leave Interscum () because that would just be way too easy . I think she will stay with them for a while. Everything that happened she took as a learning experience, and that has only made her a smarter entertainer. So while her career after ARTPOP has been a true miracle (despite the low budgets, despite the lack of singles, lack of TV performances and around the world promo trips) now with Enigma she is able to be herself with her fans again
Franch Toast 26,911
Serious question: how many of the people complaining that LG6 isn't out already, wasn't out last year, etc., are actually in an arts field where they have to create work from scratch? Here's the thing: just because she writes a song, just because she records it, doesn't mean she's going to be happy with it and want to include it on an album. Poets write lots of poems that don't end up in their poetry collections; fiction writers write stories that don't end up in their short story collections, or they write drafts of novels that have to be completely reworked over and over again......Imagine if people just published every single damn thing they wrote? I don't care if you're Gaga or Margaret Atwood: not everything that's written is going to make a good song, a good poem, a good story, a good novel. And for people bitching about her label, again, to use the literary writing analogy, imagine if there were no publishers and editors intervening to help writers make their work stronger? Oh, yeah, you'd have a bunch of bad Instagram poetry, or self-published books full of typos, clichés, and flat writing. (The problem of literary gatekeeping is a whole other issue, but I digress.) Believe it or not, those folks at Interscope actually know a thing or two about making music. Their vision may not always match Gaga's, and it may not always turn out to be right, but they didn't get where they are by being incompetent. But anyway, back to the creative process: Gaga thinks of herself as an artist, not a machine turning out mass-produced record after mass-produced record. She has a vision for her work, and it's natural that her vision will change over the course of making an album. This means that things will be scrapped. Sometimes they're scrapped because they're not good; sometimes they're scrapped because they don't fit her vision; sometimes they're scrapped because what sounded good on paper just isn't working in the studio; and maybe sometimes the label scraps things that they think won't be commercially successful. Sometimes you have to write 100 lackluster songs to get one good one. Anyway, I don't know much about her specific process as an artist, so I'm speaking mostly in general terms, but the point is, rushed art doesn't equate with good art. I know people are just super excited for more music from her and that this mostly comes from a good place, but we need to respect her artistic process. At least she's reassuring fans that she is creating new music, and anyhow, just because she didn't use the word "finishing" doesn't mean that LG6 isn't just around the corner...
