Good that the company is being "inclusive", but the reasons transgenders activists give are... laughable to say at least. It's true tho. Not everyone who menstruate are women. Trans men and non-binary people can also menstruate. 34 minutes ago, Faysalaaa said: "not all people who menstruate are women" That is false, all people who menstruate are women. Trans men cant menstruate from hormones and transitioning. "not all women menstruate" Saying this product is for women does not mean all women menstruate. It means its for women who menstruate. As I said above, trans men and non-binary people can also menstruate.

This is coming off a little transphobic and unaccepting. Why can’t you accept and welcome this change for always products? It’s the small steps that matter, as well as the big ones. Why would you shoot down a step towards openness , regardless of how important or not you think it is Not my intention. I just think that it would be like getting rid of an animal logo on a packaging for sausages to be more inclusive towards the vegan community even tho they are not gonna eat the damn sausage (and those who eat it but in the process of becoming vegan just know that it's meat, just like transmen know it's for their female body). If anything it makes the community have a bad reputation to those less inclined to accept them in the first place. I actually think that the community should make wiser choices, there are many people who don't take them seriously because of demands like this. The energy would be better put towards real important changes like bullying at school, the debate over bathrooms or sports and military. Target the big changes and the small will follow. By going after those small changes, it kinda invites the idea that the whole world should accomodate transpeople and nonbinary people. It would be better to send the message that we can all co-exist together and for that we don't need to erase all traces of femininity, masculinity, "cis-genders" stereotypes for the other communities to exist. It would be like constantly asking to modify Kasher products to not offend the vegan community. Why can't they all exist in their own ways? It's just a strategy in my opinion as a lot of 'basic normal' people, may I say, feel threatened, believe it or not and might feel like their whole lifestyle has to change too, which is not true but I hope u understand what Im trying to convey and not distort my view. Oriane 22,749
Wait, transgender women menstruate ? And if this really is an option, why would you choose to have it ? Edit : Ok that's for female to men, not men to women I think it just doesn't change anything if they just don't put any symbol. But using the neutral-gender symbol can be confusing. I saw a packaging like this a few weeks ago and I concluded it wasn't for menstruations but for urine leakage for older people so I went with another one. Also, this whole issue became problematic the moment when a transgender used a always product and found the female symbol on it as a way of discrimination or non-inclusion at least. I do not see why would someone feel uncomfortable buying anything, and at least the trangender start screaming that the tampons is for him/her, do not see how anyone in the store would assume its for him/her. I am as open minded as i can be, but that does not mean i will accept everything i see or hear. No, when a person decides to identify with another gender, they should be considered as such since this very moment. There are no such things as "complete" women or men. It's disrespectful and transphobic.

That's not how being transgender works, and you do not get to police gender identity. You've just completely resigned your own credibility.
Leozz 141
This sounds way more like a political move to get attention and free advertising than trans people being actually triggered. I'm sure they have bigger worries in life that don't include a symbol on a package.
