Now I only eat meat once a week on average, twice a week at most. This is the ideal situation. The world doesn't need to STOP eating meat but reducing how much animal product you consume is key. Helxig 45,437
I've been vegetarian for 9 years, and I've gotta say, there's no way a man is gonna convince me to go back to eating meat if he really cares about me he will take me as I am. I change for noone but me. Also I'm sure these figures are affected by the wave of veganism as a fad the past 5-10 years. People jump on the bandwagon for 3 weeks and then give up. I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Eat all the meat you want but don’t be an fool cause all you do is that. Fool yourself. There’s no need to be so rude animals kill and eat other animals, why can’t we? Today I learned that broccoli has incredible amounts of protein. So guess what I added to my grocery list? I really can’t see myself becoming vegetarian in the next 5-10 years but people change so never say never I guess Veganism is a straight no for me though. Earthling 3,702
80% of people that make any difficult change to their habits go back to doing what they did before, that's just human nature. This is such a dumb statistic floated out every now and then to try and make vegan/vegetarian diets look unsustainable if you educate yourself properly and EAT ENOUGH of the right foods 99.999% of people can live perfectly healthy and thriving lives being vegan *she switched baristas. ☕️

These conditions are not only more humane for the animals, but also have a significantly smaller impact on the environment compared to industrial farming. not the case, if all the meat-eaters switched to grass-fed/pasture-raised meat we'd run out of space on planet Earth to raise all these animals it would be nicer for the animals and perhaps lead to less intensive farming chemical run-off but it's completely unsustainable at the current rate of meat consumption the amazon rain forest is already being rapidly deforested to make space for cattle pasture and to grow crops to feed livestock less-meat consumption means more agricultural land available to grow more than enough crops to feed our global human population and room left-over to reforest in an effort to combat wide-mass extinction of indigenous species *she switched baristas. ☕️

JohnWayne92 2,361
My fiance and I were vegan for an entire year, and then moved out of the state we were in. That caused us to have to be vegetarian, as cooking wasnt much of an option with everything getting packed and vegan meals at restaurants or fast food was close to impossible. Moved to the new state, started asking where good places were to buy vegan friendly options or even go out to eat and everyone would just say, "what's vegan." 🙄 I miss it tho. It was a much healthier lifestyle, lost a bunch of weight, felt amazing the entire time. The only thing I never kind of, "missed," was chicken but it wasnt bad enough to make me stop. xoxo Craig 55,649
Just gonna leave this here... "Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith have staged an ‘intervention’ after his vegan diet turned his skin ‘grey’. The musician and actor’s parents have said they were forced to get involved when the low levels of protein in Jaden’s body started to leave him looking ‘drained’. Speaking on Red Table Talk, Jade said: ‘Will and I had a bit of an intervention with Jaden because he’s a vegan now, but we realised he wasn’t getting enough protein. ‘So he was wasting away. He just looked drained, he was just depleted, he wasn’t getting the nutrients.’" https://metro.co.uk/2019/09/24/will-smith-wife-jada-stage-intervention-son-jadens-poor-vegan-diet-turns-skin-grey-10796355/ He really looks wasted because of his vegan diet. He looks much older than what he is, because of his vegan diet... He has gone back to eating meat because he needs the essential nutrients found in meat. Grass fed red meats are what we should be eating. I'm on a keto/carnivore diet and I have never felt better. I lost so much weight BUT I gained muscle out of it. It has reset my hormones and I am feeling good. There are others like me too. End Racism Now

Guest
I dont like Vegans and the idea of it, but it is possible to be a healthy Vegan if you do it the right way and live on supplements. Most people who do that diet eat junk processed vegan food which is why they stay unhealthy.

Yes we do have that instinct too but we have enough brain to control that instinct and find new ways. Also we can survive without meat? At least you can prove me that a vegetarian (not even vegan) person died because of the vegetarism...(speaking of a person who is totally healthy and doesn‘t „need“ meat) I don‘t say everyone has to become vegan or vegetarian but as you said in your previous post, esting less and local/free land meat is already a soultion. But as an other user figured it out, the land wouldn’t be enough to feed humanity at this consumption rate...
