Oh god the delulu! Lame?! Adele has a huge audience and a huge following. Her past two albums have absolutely smashed, and she was endlessly breaking records and receiving awards. She has critical acclaim, gp approval, and an eager audience (refer to Twitter and mainstream media headlines).
