When Never Really Over was released, she didn't even know if it was going to be the lead single or standalone. That just screams lack of direction, randomness. Even when an interviewer pushed that on her when she was promoting Small Talk on radio she said she never said there was an album. However for some reason everyones saying there's an album, even Katy Perry Wiki has this song listed as the third single off KP5 also theres a KP5 link that re-directs to Katy's official website when you search "KP5" on google....so WHAT IS THE TRUTH.
