Camila makes SNL debut with Vogue inspired performance

For those criticizing Madonna's performance and the history and impact it had in Pop culture, you need to educate yourselves. I'm not even a Madonna fan but that Vogue performance brought Ballroom Vogue culture from the underground to the mainstream. It was innovative, unique and still holds an impact today, don't care if she lipsynced or not. And Camilla obvious made a reference to that VMA's performance it was so on the nose. But i guess its just a nod to Madonna nothing to be really mad about it.

Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen

The gp also kept Old Town Road at #1 for 17 weeks so I’m not surprised at the gp’s lack of taste when it comes to who should be charting:awkney: This is her debut era anyway so there will be definitely room for improvement which is fine since she has the talent!:vegas:

I mean i wasnt the one that bought the gp up first? Old town road was at least different not something that sounds like it came from arianas closet like someone had mentioned. Shes released several singles too that didnt fare well at all. Her collabs were carried by either a big name or a radio darling yet that couldnt translate to her own lead(s) which shows that no, people arent here for her as good of a dancer as she may be

Probably her most iconic VMA performance.

Oh it for sure her most iconic VMA performance. and one of the most iconic of all times.

Voguing was something black LGBT people created and they were doing it in NYC ballroom scene since the late 70's. But people didn't really much know about it. after Madonna released vogue and after this performance it became the new "hit" thing. She brought gay culture to the forfront and made the mainstream see us. While there was an aid crisis and the government was letting LGBT people die. it was more than just a performance, it was a statement. "We're here, we exist and we're beautiful".

It sounds like an Ariana Grande reject from My Everything  :poot:   And the video isn't anything special or anything we haven't seen before. Wasn't Motivation her 2nd single already, after Dancing With a Stranger?

No those other songs have nothing to do with the album I believe. This is her technically 1st single for the album.

I felt like the video was good, way better than the bland ones we get nowadays it’s a cute throwback to early 2000s music/pop culture accompanied with great choreography:nick: to each his own I guess!

So your preference is important right ?  OTR is good song and it is one of the biggest crossover song of all time

Both are good songs ( my opinion)

Madonna fans who think she invented the world, like always I see.

More like Beyoncé’s fans

Versace

I mean I love the idea of paying tribute to one of the most iconic performances but with that song :saladga:

Her songs lately are sounding sonically outdated, the GP won't be here for them. Don't get me wrong though, Shameless was fierce. I just thought she'll follow up with the sound of Havana/Senorita and capitalize on her success. I'm afraid she'll face a decline with this new project.

I didn’t know she always lip synced...

I dont care if she lip synced...

It doesnt change the fact that this performance was amazingly theatrical
