What a drought, I still want that book btw I love riri but how/when/why did she started being the style icon she is now? Does this relates to the fact that Gaga stopped being that avant-garde fashionista in 2013 at least for the locals It started happening in 2012. Her personal style started evolving and becoming more fashion forward. She did a collaboration with River Island in...12 or 13' I believe, that was a precursor to her eventual business with the likes of Puma and now LVMH obviously. Anyway that's when she started setting the groundwork for the fashion mogul she'd become. And that's just on top of the fact that she had a sort of effortless cool that gaga had kind of lost by 2012. She's chill, unaffected, etc. In a way kind of the antithesis of how gaga comes across at times. She's also not bogged down with all the philanthropic weight that gaga chains herself with. And I know she'd say that she doesn't see it that way but, gaga always makes herself obligated to revolve her image and music around the core ideologies of the born this way Foundation which kind of puts her in a corner creatively imo. Rihanna just has more freedom with her image and her content that gaga hasn't had since the Fame+Monster.
