At least she did continue, the headline makes it sound as if she cancelled the rest of the show. I'm a bit confused as to what's happening here. Did she actually have it on stage with her and dropped it or something? Wouldn't you remember where you'd dropped it? Lana, I love you but this isn't professional. Singers should put their audience's needs above these little things. She could have quickly said "I think I just lost my vape, can someone find it?" and then her team can go looking for it while she does the rest of the show. But to stop things and wander about aimlessly for a while...it may be real but it's not cute. I'm starting to see vaping becoming a more public thing now, people don't even make an announcement before pulling one out and Dave Chapelle even used one during his comedy routine. I find it quite obnoxious and like people are using them just to look cool because they dealt with being inside for long periods of time without smoking before. And we still don't know the full extent of how dangerous vapes are yet. That's why some venues will ask that you still have to go outside with the smokers. Until we can prove they're completely safe, people shouldn't be allowed to smoke them indoors at public events.

We have proved for many years that smoking kills and destroys lives of the people smoking and the ones around them and yet we still have not even come close to making it illegal. Even if vaping is in some ways worse then cigarettes we can't keep allowing for companies to put out addictive stuff for people to rely on and then just making it illegal.Ā  And I don't think a lot of people are using them just to look cool, many are just using them as a supplement to cigarettesĀ  and now need it as a replacement. I just think it's absolutely idiotic how serious we are taking vaping deaths and trying to ban them when millions of people have died to smoking cigarettes and we haven't done much in banningĀ  them.

Why

If stopping a show to find your cigarette doesn’t scream addiction to you I don’t know what does

I didn't say we make them illegal, just that we shouldn't allow widespread use of them in public spaces without question when we don't know about the longterm effects of them. Yes, a lot of people are looking at them as a cigarette replacement but my point is that they now seem to using vapes where previously they coped for long periods without a smoke break and now they're glued to this thing, so it's like it disrupts a smoker's willpower because when you can smoke them indoors, then you don't have to think about leaving what you're doing or going out in the rain or whatever. People seem to rely on vapes as much as cigarettes, basically. And some non-smokers are even trying vaping because they think it's cool or to fit in with their smoker/vaping friends. Even some kids are apparently doing it because they think it's harmless. Point is, we should have stronger restrictions around them when their dangers are still unknown.

Boo hoo. I'm a big fan of hers but I'm realistic about her. I love her music but reading on Lanaboards makes me not wanna go to one of her live shows. I've been a fan since 2012 and never once stopped being one. Just cause I said that pacific blue album will never come out and she often mentions projects that never see the light of day? It's the truth! Like ????? And there are a lot of fans that are disappointed about her live shows and bad reviews of her shows by magazines or newspapers etc. She's just not professional a lot of times and always late even though she is there backstage. Would gaga not carry on unless she has her vape? Would Taylor? Would most people? no. Lana knows she can get away with a lot because she has so many fans who kiss her ass about everything.

Um... are you really going off this muchĀ over Lana ā€œstoppingā€ her show for a few minutes to find her vape? :toofunny:Ā The 2nd time I saw Gaga during The Monster Ball tour, she was almost 2 hours late coming on, so PLEASE don’t start reading Lana for being unprofessional when literally every other artist has stopped their show for one reason or another. Get over yourself, you sound like a brat.Ā :lmao:

Then we should just make caffeine and anything slightly addicitive illegal.Ā

It has been proven that making stuff illegal makes the situation worse. Imagine cigarettes were illegal, contraband tobbacco would probably become a huge problem.Ā

People have been smoking, chewing and snorting tobbacco for centuries. Vaping has existed for 10 years max.Ā

You can't compare them by any means. Even 10 years of smoking isn't that dangerous, **** goes down hill after decades and decades of smoking, so it's obvious that we'd need to wait at least 20 years more to see the real effects of vaping.Ā

And btw, nowadays vaping is not an alternative for smoking, most cigarette smokers won't switch to vaping or vice-versa. Vaping is just a new way of smoking
