Honestly this is just good business. But let's not pretend that she's above all this when the Reputation Era has some of the most cunning  money making scheme by a contemporary artist. Ratting out her friend while placing herself on a moral high ground is what makes Taylor so unlikeable. 

yeah none of this is free album giveaways to boost her chart position, all of this includes fans BUYING the album itself + this was to give fans a higher chance to get tickets over tickets scalpers
