Telephone is one of the best on The Fame Monster. Shallow is one of her best songs ever (I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not?). The Queen is her worst song and no, not even the bridge can save it from being terrible. Marry The Night is over-rated. A good song but over-rated. Her version of Your Song is awful and completely void of emotion. Grigio Girls and Hey Girl are pretty decent songs and I don't get the hate for them. I strongly disagree with her removing Do What U Want from ARTPOP. The queen can't be her worst song when sinners prayer exists

Lyrics are cringeworthy, the chorus is a TEOG rip-off, the instrumental is bad, and the transition into a slower tempo is just awful. At least Sinner's Prayer knows what it wants to be. It doesn't try to be anything other than a country song. The Queen tries to be like eight different songs.
Miel 15,009
- Jewel's and Drugs isn't that bad; it's d*mb as hell but it's fun as hell - of all her sugary pop songs, Fashion of His Love stands up to be one of her best (the chorus is killer) Spoiler - while Gaga has an incredible career foundation in electro-pop, I would like her to stray away from it; when she's not going as Americana-kitschy as Joanne (which I still enjoyed), her songwriting and overall musicianship really shines with more organic, classic-rock influenced pop. ASIB, even if written in the context of a movie, really highlights the growth as an artist, and should steer the direction of her future sounds. Does that mean she should stray away from electro-pop completely? Of course not. But we shouldn't want another TF/M, BTW (oooh that hurts to say), or even ARTPOP. - Dope is her best song. Given the context, it's so powerful. Too powerful for some of you, I think - on that note, IWBWY, while cute and pretty polished for a demo, is probably the cringiest thing she has ever made post-2011 3 points in and ready for more
Miel 15,009
- Hey Girl, Joanne, and Angel Down are the three best songs on the album. Also, Hey Girl is a good song, goddammit! 17 minutes ago, ThatBinch said: Her version of Your Song is awful and completely void of emotion. Oof, I've had such a hard time reconciling my feelings on this. I love the cover in the sense that her performance, regarding vocal technicalities, is very, very good. Pristine, in my opinion. She showed off her skills very well, and it might be one of her cleanest vocal performances out of anything she has released, in my opinion. But... it sounds so cold? I used to think it was because she was in her lower register for a portion of the song so she accommodated with pristine technique, but we've had performances that counter that notion (Dope, Sinner's Prayer). That said, the live performance is wonderful. 3 points in and ready for more
Candy Gaga 5,374
Dope is the best song on ARTPOP as the album is her least meaningful lyrically and it gets much hate. Jewels N Drugs had Gaga slaying untill all those rappers jumbed in and ruined it . Most of ARTPOP songs aged like milk same with ASIB. Born This Way is one of the best albums in history as nearly all it's songs are unique and bold. Heavy Metal Lover is so overrated and it's the worst song on BTW as it's boring with no substance. ARUTW is good but overrated I'd rather have a 50yo singing this style rather than Gaga
TheBannedShadow 3,378
Hair and The Queen are actually the tackiest official songs she has ever recorded. Without it the ‘Born This Way’ album would have been way more cohesive. ‘Monster’ aged badly. I love ‘Dope’ but she should’ve put it on another album Venus wouldn’t have been a great single choice. It's supposed to be a simple love song that makes you feel as though it's one person singing directly to another, but Gaga's Your Song doesn't feel like it's directed at anyone. And what's more, it has this overblown production that is in complete contrast to the simple lyrics. It was a rare misstep for her, in my opinion. Oh, and I can't unhear "How wonderful life is now you're in, urine, urine, urine the world."
HeavyCapiLover 4,389
swine and jewels and drugs are good and funny song to party. Dance in the dark would have flop as a single. Fashion of his love is the only bad song from BTW. Donatella is criminally underrated. And most of your unpopular opinions are not unpopular opinions they are blasphemy (hating poker face? Teeth is the best song on TFM? ARTPOP is her worst album? )

EVER. - Second Time Around is UNDERRATED. - The Queen is actually an excellent song. - Aura, Sexxx Dreams, Donatella is way too overrated. - Swine is worst than Jewels N' Drugs. - Do What U Want is a bad single choice. - G.U.Y. would slay the chart if it was a second single. - Her acting in AHS Hotel is bad during the first episode, but she gets better noticeably. - Joanne is her BEST album. - Perfect Illusion is the BEST lead single choice. - Million Reasons video is actually good. - Joanne (Album version) is boring. - A Star Is Born plot is awful, but her acting and cinematography are superb. - Before I Cry>>>>>>Shallow After all, I am still stanning her til the end. It's fun how you say something like Bad Romance be overrated, Just Dance and Telephone and Joanne be her best album I never thought there would be fans with such absurd taste. I thought I'd seen it all, but I was pretty wrong.

Oh, and I can't unhear "How wonderful life is now you're in, urine, urine, urine the world." Yeah, I think everything surrounding it, from the mushy orchestral arrangement (which, also, isn't bad by any means, Kurstin did great) to Gaga's grandiosity, just kind of fits odd. Compared to the simple beauty of the original song, it feels like fitting a perfectly crafted and technically impressive puzzle piece onto a space that just doesn't fit. I'm wondering if the rest of the covers album was like that, too? It translates well live (like it always does with her), but I definitely would have preferred maybe even a piano-only or piano-centric arrangement on the album. The "bombastic and large scale cover" style worked with If I Ever Lose My Faith In You; unfortunately, it fell a little flat with this one. And GOD, the "urine" repetition... it didn't even sound that bad live. Like, what went wrong... 3 points in and ready for more
