With the recent 'confirmation' of a 2020, LG6 launch - I fear we are about to collapse in meltdown 

So... for some perspective: 

- *All* indicators suggest that LG6 is the album we have been waiting for. Dance, pop, classic Gaga... whatever you want to call it. There is nothing to suggest otherwise. 

- Putting our skepticism aside, 'Mr. S' on ATRL (who has accurately informed us of virtually every new release) 'confirmed' a March - April 2019 drop. 

- As such, the album was likely pushed back by around a year to facilitate Haus Labs, Shallow, Enigma.

- That means this album will be well thought-out and will have had a lot of time, energy and effort put into it. 

- An early 2020 drop could make LG6 the first album of a new decade... 

- Which means that Gaga will have guaranteed relevancy in two separate decades. 

- Had LG6 dropped this year, we wouldn't be getting a new album till maybe 2023, which would've hurt Gaga's wider recognition. 

- A 2019 drop could've clashed with Adele.  

- an EARLY 2020 ALBUM = singles relatively soon. October onwards, perhaps. 

In short, LG6 dropping in 2020 is a good plan. 

The era will have been in desvelopment for a long time. Everything will be ready to go. And it'll help to keep the Gaga flame burning bright throughout a new decade. 

This is all positive news, and at least we know where we're heading now.

I know you were probably joking, but a Joanne Part. 2 is completely off the cards. 

And I kind of like the idea of Gaga finishing her fist decade in a way that completely differed to how she started it... and starting a new one in the way she started the first. 

Like, beginning - middle of the tens = pop ; middle - end of tens = jazz, country, ASIB. 

Beginning of twenties = pop... middle, end = ????

Let's not even think about that yet, lmao.

Call me crazy - but I don’t think we have any tangible proof of what type of music LG6 is going to be.

It’s anyone’s guess as Lady Gaga is ever changing her image and sound.

I think LMs have such an idea of what they WANT it to be so badly - they are seeing things that aren’t necessarily there.

Isn't that what fans say/think for every album?  

Same for "this album will make or break Gaga to see if she'll stay relevant in the long run" and sis has been doing more than fine ever since she started

I disagree that she pushed back the album because of Haus Labs and Enigma—Engima was already well under way/planned out way in advance and if anything Haus Labs probably would have benefited from being released around the same time as the music.

At the same time, I agree that an early 2020 release date (if accurate) is a good thing. It's not going to clash with Rih or Adele, we'll probably get a single in November (or possibly October, even tho that original tweet about an October release date is BS), and at least there's an actual time frame. It's actually a good time for music if you like Adele, Rihanna, and Gaga....it sounds like singles/albums will be released over the next six months from all three.

Also, apparently most of the tweets about the event are BS....one music journalist said early 2020 or very early 2020 and that was about it. Nothing about "it will be a return to what made Gaga famous" or so on....
