It's not necessarily non researched clickbait stuff if it is what happened? Lana's comment is there for everyone to see. Her having coffee or complimenting Camila prior to this comment does not negate that she wrote what she wrote. What I will say is that it could possibly be interpreted differently. As in some may think Lana simply meant "what the hell" in a good way (?) but the vast majority of ppl believe it to be done because of the comparisons Camila's monologue got to Ride. So yes, perhaps Lana was taken a back and was a bit angry in that moment. It isn't all that far fetched. People can get mad at friends if they feel wronged by them or surprised by something they did.

you still don't "know" that she's mad at her. Just write "Lana Del Rey comments on Camila Cabello's Album Trailer" or something. You'll get enough views on your thread either way. And your thread titles recently have been really clickbait-y which is super-annoying tbh. We're on GGD not TMZ

Look you don't get to tell someone how or what they can or can't write as their titles. As long as they are in line with the guidelines I don't see how they can cause any harm or ignite anger / annoyance like you are expressing right now. It's all light hearted. Your comment is rather personal...Please don't be mad. I love u sis lol . In my defense I will say that someone writing "what the hell" at a video that has been HEAVILY compared to their own is basically known to be universal sign of annoyance / anger / surprise. I don't see how it couldn't be any more clearer than that. Unless Lana says otherwise I think it is safe to assume that that is what was meant. And it is understandable why the vast majority of people believe it to be so.

I remember many lana fans thinking every monologue in a music video was a copy of lana's ride one but wasn't gaga doing the monologue thing a year earlier for her Marry the night video?..

I bet it had been done plenty of times before both of them tho lol!

i really doubt that she’s mad, she liked the post, she seems to get along with her and the monologue is quite different thematically. though i do think her label has taken a leaf out of lana’s book tbh as it did her many favors at that time. lana didn’t invent monologues over visuals and people who act like that are absurd, but it’s also hard to deny that if her team took inspiration from a recent pop artist for that scene, it’s most likely the ride monologue, yes, as it’s similar in tone. i doubt they saw rihanna’s speech before we found love or gaga narrating mtn and said this is what we’re going for lol. but then again, who knows really, these confession-type monologues have become a tired cliché at this point

that being said, now that i happened to watch this in order to see what the fuzz is all about, are people actually stanning camila? and what for?

i mean, lana takes a lot of inspiration from other artists, but there's a difference between inspiration and blatant copying, yk?
