I thought I read news somewhere that grindr now have option on your profile that let you choose that you OK with n00dz or nah, no? Have you use that new feature yet? You may need to update ur app tho

I don’t know how I feel about this. You can just block someone if they send you nudes. Are we really going to make people pay a fine because you got an unsolicited nude? I just think this is a non issue. Just block them.

i know about that feature. i’m okay with getting nudes but i wanna be able to to consent to receiving them, if that makes sense. because a lot of the time, people i’m not interested in will send nudes as their first message which forces me to see it.

Washington, Pennsylvania and New Jersey have laws against cyberstalking, which is defined by intent to harass, said Pam Greenberg, a senior fellow for the National Conference of State Legislatures. In South Carolina, it's illegal to anonymously send any lewd content without the consent of the person receiving it.

Roche said Bumble understands enforcing the law will be a challenge, but the Texas legislation is intended to serve as a deterrent.

Secondly, play your card right from this day on, Texans monsters. People can always trap you and get you to jail because of this now. And if you one of those people who runs nudes twitter/fb/insta/snapvhat account and live in Texas, be careful, y'all! Don't want you get arrested cos someone retweeted your post and shown up on other people's timeline who doesn't ask for it.

I am very glad to see a law like this passed, because I think it will protect women, who are largely the victims of revenge p0rn and online harassment. It properly places the blame on the person who shared the image, not the subject of the image. And it applies equally whether you are sending someone an unwanted **** pic, sending someone's work and family explicit images to blackmail them, or even sending a nude photo of someone to themselves to threaten them. 

Kinda disappointed to see yall are mostly just joking or complaining that it will keep you from getting horny pics as easily

I'll bet it's more to target serial harassers who send their pics out to tons of people or who make new accounts to keep harassing the same person, or to target revenge ****. It would be a waste of the police department's time to pursue someone who was reported one time by a person who didn't even try to block them first.
