This is actually a really Interesting topic. I associate voices with colors. For example:

Adele: Mahogany or maroon.

Gwen Stefani- light yello

beyonce- deep purple

gaga- silver or white

pink- red

Christina Aguilera - dark red

Toni Braxton- darker brown

tori Amos- lavender or violet

Selena Gomez- pink

it's thanks to gaga I realised I had this because when I wanted to find or describe songs in the style of Poker Face I would always say blue. So I know when I want to listen to a blue song which is my favourite type, green is the rarest for me

That's funny, I do associate colors with music but I dissociate the colors themselves, they don't mean anything individually. I can see two very different songs in blue, for me the color is not indicative of anything. I associate some music styles with colors though (rock and metal would be black, jazz is more orange...), but even then I wouldn't necessarily see songs from these styles in these colors. So I can't say "hey I want to listen to a blue song !".

Yes I do this all the time! Like I also for some reason give letters, numbers, and Key Scales their own color as well!

(I see F Minor as green, also Telephone gives me a green visual)

For most of the ARTPOP album I see

Aura: Red/Pink (I see both colors)

Venus: Turquoise

Do What U Want (Solo): Blue

ARTPOP: Red/Pink

Swine: Flashy Yellow

Gypsy: Dark Pink (almost Magenta)

Applause: Red

... I think I see the letter A as red, that would explain why I see all these A starting titles as red :laughga:

oh that's interesting so it's kind of like each individual songs 'aura'?

mine helps when making music because I colour code all the tracks so kick drums are always black, claps yellow etc but I guess it isn't as interesting since songs of a certain style all share the same colour so I guess it's just another way of categorising for me

When I make music, I don't work with the colour aspect. I do have an idea of the colors at the beginning, and when the song is done, it usually has different colors than what I had intended (but it's because of my lack of skills, I can't make the production sound like what I want ).

Hmm, weird. It’s chords, progressions & notes that I assign color to, not full songs lol most songs have multiple colors for me, almost like splashes of color dancing with each other as the song plays & certain notes come up.
