I for sure do have synesthesia to some degree (or maybe not lol), but I tend to see vague imagery with songs and sounds

For me, ARTPOP triggers my Music Synesthesia because it's so diverse in sound.

Literally same

It's funny and also really wrong seeing other people's colours not match with mine haha

it's thanks to gaga I realised I had this because when I wanted to find or describe songs in the style of Poker Face I would always say blue. So I know when I want to listen to a blue song which is my favourite type, green is the rarest for me

edit: And yeah ARTPOP is her most colourful album hands down, I think that's why it's my favourite

I never really know if I’m a proper synesthete, and the aural stimuli trigger responses from different senses during different episodes; so, like, sometimes it’s visual but then the same sound / song / signature could also trigger tactile / kinesthetic or gustatory or olfactory responses on a later play, so idk … but visually, especially with ARTPOP, I noticed it’s not so much static colors, but oscillating hues, and the oscillations kind of sync with the tempo or cadence or it’s like a visual symphony or something — idk, that either makes sense or doesn’t, but synesthesia is kind of ineffable by definition … anyway, for the sake of the OP (generally speaking) … a few off the top …

Aura - Deep Violet / Crimson
Venus - Orchid / Indigo / sort of hints or accents of ivory with a pearlescent tone
G.U.Y. - Pink fluctuations with like scintillating crystalline accents
Sexxx Dreams - Nocturnal blue / deep end of the purple spectrum in a spiraling descent … sort of like a blue spectrum crossing the event horizon of a black hole
Jewels N' Drugs - Onyx, Ruby, Zirconium, Rose Gold
Do What U Want - Black / White / Red (probably on account of the whole news media thing … tbh)
ARTPOP - Light Blue / Porcelain / hints of sandstone (probably like a subtle rhythm between the sky and ocean at the horizon point on a beach)
Swine - Neon Blue / Amber-Tangerine in a graffiti sort of motion choreography
Donatella - Royal Blue - Cerulean / Gold
Fashion! - Yellow / Silver / Saffron
Mary Jane Holland - Moss / Olive Green / shades of like Smoky Topaz
Dope - Dark Blue / Onyx
Gypsy - Light Blue / Muted technicolor horizon at sunset
Applause - Neon Blue/Purple/Imperial Red/Canary Yellow … billowing into a climax and fading into a crescendo, and then ascending into rhythmic repetition

Poker Face was the first song where I really noticed I had it - it's such a vibrant turquoise for me :gaycat:

lost in limbo

ok but idk if I have synesthesia?? I found out it was a thing a while ago but like, I don't associate numbers/letters/days/etc. with colors, but idk bc I think I can associate colors with songs, months and specific scenarios/aesthetics

this is off-topic so idk   If I don't, well I wish I had lol

this is the state of grace, this is the worthwhile fight

I love how we always agree that ARTPOP is the most colorful, even though we're all seeing different colors !
