Spock 20,292
With several hours to go before our chart is finalized, Republic's Taylor Swift looks to be cruising toward a #1 bow in the neighborhood of 865k. That monster number for Lover will naturally be the biggest debut of the year, and if you add in the tracks she scattered like pastel-colored breadcrumbs prior to the album drop, Tay is on her way to a first-week RTD total north of 1.1m. The Swifties (some of whom are pictured above) are rejoicing. http://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=317745 UPDATE: Critical acclaim International smash 885k opening week we stan a FLOP era who will love me when the night is over

The drop is not even comparable. Taylor has always been consistent and way bigger than Gaga. Double standards do exist but this is not it.
