Billie Eilish shirtless for NYLON Magazine without consent

I think the main reason why this annoyed her was the fact that she covers up and doesn’t show body (for a reason) and this the total opposite of that. It’s more about this being a complete misrepresentation of her image as an artist.

It’s like being anti fur and a magazine photoshops you wearing a fur coat.

The fembot caption :triggered: this is literal objectification. While it’s no biggie if Gaga poses topless (and even then I do feel bad about, say, the telephoto lens photos of her topless in Mexico), I can count the number of times I’ve seen Billie’s decolletage (and only because people were weird as **** about it) so obviously she wants to keep it that way. It sucks because, in theory, I love the idea of fans collabing with their favs and she’s done it in the past with that fan art of her crying black tears which served as the inspiration for her MV so she seems more down/aware that most artists.

At least this scandal will cull a terrible trend in deep fake covers.

The image itself is absolutely sickening (in a cool, stylistic way). Shame that this was done without Billie's notification or approval, however

I would be absolutely gagged if Gaga did a shoot like this. It's giving me Björk All Is Full Of Love vibes

REALITY

What in the fvcking fvck.

She's literally underage and yeah without her knowledge is super creepy

Stop sexualizing her, Troye, Shawn, Puth, and literally everyone who gets treated like that's all they're good for is to be hot

Tryoe Sivan, Shawn Mendes, and Charlie Puth are all over the age of consent though...

Yeah but I meant in general many people objectify them for either not conforming to straight norms, being hot, or being gay

She is very private about her body and wants to keep it that way. She has every right to say what she wants about her body, even if it’s ‘just’ shoulders or not. That’s the whole reason why she wears baggy clothing that don’t reveal anything.

Plus she is 17, that makes it even worse to do:smh:

But still... I tought it was something far worse than this. Also, why everyone finds this need to put everything in Twitter. For someone who wants to keep her body private she seems to be exposing herself much more by acknowledging this publication.

But the thing is that we can’t judge what worse for someone else. If your not comfortable with it (this goes for everyone, not only Billie) you should say something. I think she handled it good by putting them in their place. Sure it will get more views now but she is probably mad about the fact they even made that, not necessarily how many people saw it.

What you want Lady Gaga🥂 What you want with Christina🥂

Wow... that’s pretty ridiculous, I’d be pissed if I were her. & the whole “supernatural fembot” narrative is offensive. They’re over feminizing her to fit their version of what they want her to be & it’s toxic af.
