I think ARTPOP release. I think AHS Hotel/c2c/Till It Happens To You all became damage control and she's slowly but surely been rebuilding her brand since. ASIB has been such a success and she's clearly back on the right track. I think the Dope performance was the peak of her downfall, she seemed in so much pain.

Born This Way 100%

at the time, it was a completely different sound and I think that album divided the fans that were ride or die with the people who were just listening to her music because it was cool to between 08 & 10. When BTW came out, I continued to stan even harder but my str8 friends and even some of my uptight gay friends started hating her during that era. And by the time AP was released, those people forgot she was even still making music. To a lot of general public peasants, Gaga’s career died with TFM until they realized she was alive during the Super Bowl promo and I’m not even joking :flop:

Inferno

When The Fame Monster-era officially ended I distinctly remember it feeling a certain type of way. Because to anyone that actually lived it, even though it was only like what a year and a half to 2 year span? It felt like so much longer because she was always changing and was so omnipresent that it was almost as if the pop landscape had never existed without her (relax to the oldheads that always bring up her references). To me, TFM officially ending and leading way to BTW was the true death of the beginning of her career and Born This Way was like the start of the rest of it, a turning point. And tbh I don't think I was wrong?

After TFM/The very early BTW era.

I think of the eras where she became a bit of an eyeroll to the GP (later BTW, all of ARTPOP eras) as separate from the beginning.
