Who made that rule? Are you certain that this is the case?

Billboard. I don't know when the rule  came into effect but it's been there since before Gaga's career started.

Yes it is, it is to prevent that songs stay on the low half of the hot 100 forever and outshine new songs. Like Shape Of You could perhaps still reach the other side of the hot 100 with it's stable airplay and streams for years. But if all the older popular songs are performing like that, new songs will not appear on the hot 100 to discover.

We need DarkGa with Bops so we can rule the industry again and learn the other popgirls how to snatch 'em wigs to ultimate baldness!!

And that rule allows Small Talk to become a Hot 100 hit :tony:

She won't release any music after HUGE HYPE & GP LOVE, after earning an Oscar, after starring in a blockbuster, after her latest hit peaking at #1 (10 years into her career), after it spending 45 weeks in the top 50.

also the public is HUNGRY for Gaga, she's been constantly viral over the past year

gaga only, the audacity of this b :saladga:

You can tell we didn't have a proper hit in a while when Shallow's recurrent position is so surprising to people

If LG6 was delayed due to Shallow success that means we can finally start the era now? :rip:

I was hoping Shallow could stay a whole year in the charts... :bradley:

Nonetheless, she had a great run and became a timeless classic

And if we think it over maybe Shallow will be charting again
And we'll have to wait for LG6 all over again

It was such a great time for us and Gaga’s career! I do remember the first time I heard the song and I cannot imagine how proud I was gonna feel about it after some time.

We love a talented artist. :diane:
