Inferno 2,880 Posted August 19, 2019 Share Posted August 19, 2019 She has a few: Perfect Illusion, Applause, G.U.Y., Do What U Want, Marry the Night, Judas, LoveGame.....what else....i'd even go as far as to say that most normal non-gaga obsessed people probably forget that edge of glory and alejandro exist as well tbh but when its brought to their attention they immediately remember having heard them as opposed to all the other ones i listed. Bad Romance, Poker Face, Paparazzi, Just Dance, Born This Way, (Million Reasons/You and I? Maybe? Not sure), and now Shallow are the singles that stay in regular folks consciousness. Its a very marginal type of hit because (from my observation as a gaga-obsessed person in this world) your average young person never cared about it at the time or today, but its one of gagas signature hits among her older demographic, particularly older women that listen to adult contemporary stations. From stories from my friends to my own experiences working with different people, You and I is like the go to Lady Gaga song for all the older people out there that normally don't f*ck with her because shes too wild or too pop for them but they love her voice on that track. And, its like the only Gaga song (aside from now Shallow of course) that gets recurrent spins on adult contemporary radio to this day. The other day I heard it at the gas station for instance, but again, not sure if this is just relegated to the US maybe? It is a very...idk....american oriented single? I would think. But idk.
