FfFfFfFF  - a full on banger
ANTI WP - kinda relatable to the lyrics but the autotune and the length killed the song 😓
corvus albus - Atrocious overuse of autotune. Actually catchy beat but the vocal drag this song down several spots.
lost in limbo - I'll be honest and say this song has regressed on me lol. It used to be my favorite on American Life but idk I guess as I re-listened to the album my view changed. Also damn that ripple effect is annoying, which is why it loses half a point. BESIDES THAT THO, it's an excellent track and very much an American Life-type of track if that makes sense. It's a classic and I still love it a lot (it's a track I can relate to as well so that adds a bonus point).
Sneaky Oliver - This is perhaps my favorite Madonna song EVER. I think it's all about how our inner selves are always going through changes and improvements to the point nobody will be ever be able to completely know us. It's also about separeting yourself from the superficial views people may have about you in order to get "close to the light". I love the inclusion of backwards vocals, I think she could have explored more of this throughout the album.

I'm ok with this

Spoiler

FfFfFfFF - Gorgeous song. The acoustic guitar gives it that emotional feel, has a lot of melody & the electronic additions at the end bring the song to the next level.
ANTI WP - well written pop song ....the starting reminds 13 reasons why .. I don't know why
corvus albus - Nice intro. Nice song.
Sneaky Oliver - This is the first song of the most introspective phase of the album. The title is so smart tbh. You can obviously associate "intervention" with wars but on the song, love was the intervention needed so she could get rid of her fears and insecurities.
lost in limbo - This track. Has made me cry. SO MANY TIMES. It's honestly underrated and I just know it's gonna rank low, which is why I'm gonna rip it apart with compliments. The little details this song has, how stripped down it is, the ****ING LYRICS, everything about this song is so beautiful and I fall in love with it everytime I hear it once again. This song hits harder when you take into account what it is about and her current relationship with her son. This is imo one of the best on this album and one of my faves from her entire discography. That bridge? One of the best in her career. Y'all are gonna sleep on this but it's fine. I'm fine...:madge:
