I randomly ended up coming back to the forgotten bop album of 2016, M I A's "AIM" and came across a miraculous discovery. :whitney: I was bopping away to this one song and then instantly shouted "Dancin in circles, feels good to be lonely!" :lolly: But then I realized I was listening to MIA and was so confused :what: So, is "Bird Song (Diplo remix)" by MIA an inspiration for the production on DIC? Take a listen :ohwell:

Pretty similar huh? :trollga:

What are your thoughts?...

Very similar. I like it! Yeah, DIC was probably inspired by M.I.A., but most likely it was BloodPop (as he was the producer) rather than Gaga who was.

They were recorded around the same time and were released in between 2 months of each other.

Beck is a friend of Diplo so it's possible that he influenced Diplo or the contrary

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Don't know about same sound, but MIA is a genius, and I'd love a Gaga ft. MIA or vice-versa :flutter:

Gaga wrote DIC in partnership with Beck. It was inspired in Beck's favorite Gaga song: Alejandro.

But.. but it sounds nothing like Alejandro :bradley:
